File photo of Pakistani school children protesting against U.S. drone strikes.

Reuters reports that the drone strike was strongly condemned by Pakistan’s foreign ministry, which called it “illegal.”

The Sept 11th terrorists also called US drone strikes "illegal"... However Al Qaeda (Cicero's BFFL) consider
the World Trade Center attack to be a "legitimate target".  I wonder if Cic agrees with them on that one
too?

Another "face of the enemy"

U.S. officials said this afternoon that a CIA drone strike in Pakistan has killed the no. 2 al-Qaida leader,
Abu Yahia al-Libi.

(Cicero is taking up a collection to send flowers to his family.)

Well I don't agree with them on that one, but the Obama legal team does based on the U.S. legal definition of war and "enemy combatant".  Killing unsuspecting innocent women and children without warning in order to kill one suspected terrorist 5000 miles away is the Obama policy.  So is picking them up off the "battlefield" and locking them in Gitmo indefinately.  I know it sounds strangely like the terrorists tactics, but it is truly U.S. policy.

I guess based on current American standards and if the Obama Administration was in charge of directing the Al Qaeda "army", then if there was just one person in the WTC that Al Qaeda(aka Saudi Arabia) felt threatened by, and deemed them to be an enemy planning to attack them, then the other 2000 killed would be considered justified collateral damage.

Who is the no. 1 leader?  Is the no. 3 leader now the no. 2 leader?  When are they going to break out the deck of playing cards with America's enemies on them?  That really got the nations blood lust going.

who decides what 'legal' targets are? the same schmucks who decide value.......

I though Obama campaigned against GITMO and illegal bombings. Funny you don't hear from the libs about this anymore.

Nothing is illegal when you circumvent congress.  Obama is a king, painstakingly going over the 'kill list' on "Terrorism Tuesday's", selecting the next lucky person to be killed.

Liberals oppose the death penalty even after the person goes through due process...But, a secret kill list?  Not a problem!!  Not only do libs like Box cheer the killing of the suspected "terrorist" but they don't even bat an eye lash at the women and children killed in the process.  And if it's an American "terrorist", Box says two bombs for him!

I gues George starting the whole thing with false statements and "...becuase he tried to kill my Daddy....." as justification is now overlooked. Let's just blame it all on Obama! Come on people, GET REAL!  It don't matter if it was Georgie-Porgie or Obama or even DVOR....when something like this gets started, you have to move forward within the hand you were dealt and try to do it tactfully if possible.  I don't agree with al lthe actions, etc., but it is what it is. Romney would do no different, except maybe be a wimp about the whole thing...do same thing everyone else is dfoing but dfind a way to blame on the Democraps!

Well no, he's no longer president.  What's the point of protesting an ex president?  He can't stop the current assassinations.

What is the point of elections if the person elected has to "deal with the hand they are dealt" by the previous administration?  May as well get rid of term limits if that's the case.

I was going to get more detailed in response, but (no offense), I feel like I'd just be pi$$ing up a rope.

The ride is tactful assassinations using unmanned drones.
