Funny, I don't remember hearing anything about the Town being responsible for that lot or property.

If they're "responsible" for it, when are they going to bring the entire property up to code?

Elk's Car Show

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Ok, I'm cool with that - but tax dollars (6 men and a dump truck of asphalt for several hours) paying for it?  Was this voted on by the board?

It belongs to the town of rotterdam................yes?

The town is the landlord, so to say.....yes?

Perhaps trustco is complaining????

However..........it does sound more like 'the elks car show' being the motivator there.

Ok, that's exactly what I was wondering.  Did the property finally, completely get transferred to the Town?  I remember there was plans in place for that to happen, I wasn't aware it ever got completed.

So, is the town getting money from Trustco to lease that location?  What plans are there for the property?

Thanks for the info

I've lost track of who owns what over there.................................if they're not going to do any thing there then why not level it, bring in topsoil and plant oats or pumpkins there

No, they do that as soon as they hit the town garage to pick up the trucks in the morning (I've seen them parked at both of the towns Cumberland Farms on different mornings, 7-8 AM).  Noticed how the lawns in the medians are not being mowed this year, either.  Wonder if it has something to do with the switching of parties of the head of the Highway Department.

That's exactly what I was looking for rampage ... thank you!

So, to answer my own question, I assume the Town is collecting rent from Trustco.  Any idea what line that's going into the budget as?
