I have been told by the real cops (not the political hack ones) that there are shots about every day and you won't hear reports on it.

Schenectady police question man in shots-fired call

SCHENECTADY— City detectives were questioning a man Wednesday afternoon in connection with reports of shots fired, according to a city police spokesman.

He also said responding officers recovered a gun from the 1400 block of State Street shortly after several 911 calls that at least two shots had been fired in that area.

As a result, Lincoln Elementary school was on lockdown for a short time, added Dearing. He said it's unclear if anyone was shot.
