Actually, Romney doesn't need that issue to win in November.  Romney can point to Obama's failure to create any jobs in 3 year despite throwing over a trillion dollars in "stimulus money" at the problem.  Romney can point to the billions flushed down the toilet to fund "alternative energy" companies (for the record, I believe there is a future for alternative energy but it should be privately funded) ---- it seems a bit curious that the billions spent didn't produce anything positive but did manage to fatten the wallets of certain "well-connected" Obama campaign contributors.
