I happened to be clicking through the channels this morning when I heard Liz Benjamin on YNN describe Obama stepping on the tarmac at the Albany Airport as an "Iconic moment"....................I burst out laughing, because a couple hours earlier I read this: "Objective Journalism is a hard thing to come by these days. We all yearn for it, yet who can point the way?" ......and this......"With the possible exception of things like box scores, race results and stock market tabulations there is no such thing as Objective Journalism. The phrase itself is a pompous contradiction in terms.".................................the last two quotes were written in 1972.........................we've come a long way haven't we?
