"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

On this day in 1950, Lafayette Ronald Hubbard (1911-1986) publishes Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.

It's clear now why DVOR decided to post history on this date...The day a cult was formed

It is ironic and interesting that the Germans surrendered on President Truman's birthday.

We should all pause to remember the many men and women who fought to defend liberty and democracy during World War II.

You wouldn't know liberty or democracy if it smacked you in the face...L.Ron Hubbard is more your speed as it asserts control and providing 'your fair share'.

I see I struck a nerve here, since you saw the need to defend after my post of the obvious of 'this day in history'.

It's not hard to read posts...It's also not hard to use the internets....It's also not hard to read people.

I disagree...it's impossible to read a blank page, and that is what we are dealing with when it comes to this individual.....blank, no substance...nothing of value.....deer in headlights!!!!

May 11, 1934:  Dust storm sweeps from Great Plains across Eastern states

This environmental disaster along with the Great Depression were the results of failed Republican leadership in Washington.   In many ways, modern-day Republicans have proven that they never learned from those past mistakes ---- they still advocate tax cuts for the rich, subsidies and government handouts to their wealthy cronies and a "screw the poor and middle class"-philosophy.
