What do you mean "went"? This joke City Council has been in the dog house for 37 years since the DEM fiscal morons took control. Instead of cuts Karl Erickson blasts the Cuomo Tax Cap and wants more taxes. To further collapse City resale values. Denise Brucker gets hostile with the press demanding answers for her constant support of more spending. They have no plan. They have no clue. Most are on there just to double dip or pad bloated pensions. The worst is Peggy King who wants no changes, no cuts and sits like a clapping seal seconding every insane McCarthy spending spree. They must go now.

Riggi is going to change things....you watch and be ready....he will get the ball rolling.....his interview on TV yesterday was an indication he

does know what is going on and once people realize that he is for them.....they will follow.....and want change.....

Go Riggi......put them on the chopping block....then maybe Rotterdam will follow the leader and not a REGIME that gives you no voice.

'Another regulation' to fix dog problems criticized
Schenectady hearings address insurance idea, proposed medical site

By Lauren Stanforth
Published 10:50 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2012

SCHENECTADY — Public hearings held on two controversial issues before City Council Tuesday night – one on requiring insurance from dog owners and the other on locating a medical hospitality house in the GE Realty Plot – met with mostly silence.

Prospective City Council candidate Democrat Robert Sanders was the only person who spoke on the proposed dog legislation, which would not only require a dog owner to have $50,000 worth of limited liability insurance, but would reduce how long an unlicensed dog is paid to be held in a shelter from eight to three days.

City Attorney John Polster said homeowners insurance would cover the proposed law for most pet owners. The coverage's cost would be between $150 to $250 a year for others.

Sanders commented, "Just passing another regulation isn't going to work," in regards to loose and dangerous dogs roaming the city........................>>>>.....................>>>>.......................Read more: http://www.timesunion.com/loca.....18.php#ixzz1wLmeFQMX

This idiotic proposal is going nowhere like everything else these DEM morons do. At least Nero fiddled. NOTHING-no proposal to cut ANYTHING. In fact just the opposite. The DEM morons pad bloated lobs in City Hall, they add to the City vehicle fleet, they increase City bonding to narrow Erie Boulevard in spite of the clear will of the people. The Vampire City sucking the life blood out of anyone who invests in property there. They all have to go starting with Charity Shop closer Marion Poterfield. A collection of brain dead educators and self important nit wits. Not a small business person anywhere in sight.

Mayor McCheese and the city council don't really care how much money they spend because it's not their money that's being wasted.

The City can't even figure out how to make sure CHURCHES have insurance policies so what makes anyone believe that pit bull owners will?? This is so stupid, it's beyond laughable.

If Schenectady has a prayer to end pit bull violence, do a Dade County and make owning pit bulls illegal. Love to see that citizen group for pit bull ownership.

That dog thing, it was no public hearing.   It was a private hearing.

I'll bet that it will get voted yes and most owners won't even know until they do the license thing

The worst piece of dog s*** City Dem pooper scoopers have ever considered. At least Nero fiddled. Talk about a waste of time. Large dog insurance? Peeps can't afford the DEM insane confiscatory taxation. Fire some City Hall lobs, clean out Code Enforcement, end the City free vehicle plan and fully staff Animal Control. So maybe someone is on call Saturday morning? More NOTHING from the brain dead DEMS. Where are the lying McCheese operatives today? All hiding in the tall grasses claiming they didn't know from nuthin.

If only. Under insane NYS law you can't discriminate against a breed. Boo-hoo even the pit bull killers have rights in this upside down State. Thank You Assembly DEMS! Another reason to keep A-Jello on the sidelines and out of the Assembly. Back the Quack!
