An unexpected $1 million payment to Schenectady County

Is McCarthy for real?

Is there ANYONE on this board - EVEN THE BIG CHEERLEADER FOR THE CITY - that will define that as an "unexpected payment."

HELLO, the DEMS WILLFULLY, DELIBERATELY chose not to pay money that was owed.   When you CHOOSE not to pay a bill, and then when you have to pay, it is NOT, I repeat it is NOT an "unexpected payment"

DUH!!!!!!!!!!!

An 'independent audit'? Ya...right?

And how many times did the media have to press them for a copy of the audit??

Why didn't McMayor get and audit done when he took office, like Stratton did when he took office. Remember that was how Stratton got his facts on what bad shape Jasenski left the city in......remember?

TODAY the city is in 'worse' shape. And McMayor was a pivotal part of the process that declined the city!! Right along with Paolino, Stratton, Gillen and Savage!!!

McCarthy at first refused to give reporters a copy of the horrible independent. Expect more bombshells from these DEM morons. The first reaction is always to lie and/or ignore every problem. Carl Erickson said this is happening "at every NE City". Where? Please name them. Camden NJ has state oversight because they can't manage their fiscal affairs either. Same problem in Schenectady, NY but no one has the guts to tell it like it is. Except here. Next Monday Council hearing on DEM dog insurance. Dog lovers should pack the hearing room and demand immediate resignations from the City Attorney and horrible Mayor. Keep the DEM implosion going!

When Paulino, Marco and Stratton fled they were cheered as the ones that turned City finances around in the Gazetto! They even ran an editorial highlighting the great "accomplishments". All a crock. A one shot while City property values tanked under DEM confiscatory taxation. Now 700 homes to be foreclosed but the City does not have money to knock them down. More boarded up eyesores/dangerous fire traps that further drag down City resale values. It's the high taxes-stupid! Tell us again about returning the McMayor's car while tripling the Deputy Mayors salary.

In 1998 the PILOT Revenue was only $458,421 and in 2011 it was $687,310 even with all the wonderful things the METROPLEX has done.   Anyone have a source for the details of those who paid a PILOT in 2011?
