A Red-tailed Hawk pair has been nesting on a light pole nearly 80 feet above Cornell University’s athletic
fields on Tower Road for at least the past four years in Ithaca NY.
The last I saw three chick had hatched.  Two days ago, the nest had about 3 inches of snow on it.  Today
the wind is quite strong & I wonder how the chicks don't get blown out of the nest.

(Note: Ignore the dead pigeon heads in the nest. )
