Anyone see that guy who just spoke, he pays $999 taxes PER QUARTER for a house on, of all places, Moyston St!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We don't even pay that in Rottderdam in a reasonably nice area with a large yard!

It's all "EVIDENCE" of what DV calls "the renaissance."

.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

The NERVE of the dem council people!   Riggi was the ONLY council person to speak ON BEHALF OF THE RESIDENTS, THE TAXPAYERS, AND THE NEIGHBORHOODS

Yes, austerity budget, he's the ONLY one that wants that.

DV probably turned off the TV because he can't bear to hear the TRUTH about the city, THERE IS NO RENAISSANCE

Remember Vince Riggi lost his first Council race to Margaret King from Utica. He kept speaking up and offering new ideas. Even though no DEM ever listened. There are plenty of good candidates in town. One of them needs to wake up and REP/CONS primary for Assembly against A-Jello.

Eliminate the City Department of Development, "work together" with the County on Central Park/all City parks, eliminate all City vehicles/phones except for the Police Chief and Fire Chief. Close the money losing Body Shop. Cut Code Enforcement 25%. Save $10 MILLION.

That's just City taxes doesn't include schools taxes. Which are going up again next month. But McCarthy calls it a great reassessment -ROTFLMAO!

And that's exactly what Vince Riggi is doing. He's doing the job!!! Unlike the 'voting whatever the DEM party tells me' ..Riggi has a brain, a moral compass and a drive to see the City get out of the dump.

McCarthy wants to collect his pension and Mayoral salary which, right there, lacks any moral compass.

Thank you Vince Riggi, there is a glimmer of hope yet!

Glimmer is the right word. The Mayor is in continual la-la land. He refuses to confront the reality that he must lead and CUT something. He keeps bringing up the Mayor's vehicle-what about the rest of the City fleet? NOTHING, ZZZZZ, Denise Brucker is studying it- lol. They have  fallen off a cliff {as predicted here} and the DEM "leaders" refuse to pull the rip cord. Where's Poterfield's plan?
