Man stabbed in chest in Schenectady

SCHENECTADY — A man was sent to a hospital Wednesday night after being stabbed twice in the chest on a street corner, said police.

The knifing occurred around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of State and Hulett streets in the city's Hamilton Hill neighborhood, police said. The stabbing victim was taken by ambulance to Albany Medical Center Hospital, and his condition was not immediately known. As part of their investigation, police are reviewing footage from a surveillance camera on the block and asking for the public's help.
