I'm sorry if I seem confused but I'm not sure what's going on. Everyone keeps referencing a DV (is that Death Valley) and the possibility that I may have some relationship with that person. There seems also to be some confusion re the poster known as Hamburg, who I feel has a potty mouth although I am not always in total disagreement with them on some issues. I just feel that on a public forum a more mature form of behavior would be in order.

As for myself, yes my username is a bit of a naughty pun and I apologize if it offends anyone. I have found my way here at the suggestion of a friend (we are both elderly) who thought it would be a good way to spend a portion of my day. It certainly has been interesting so far. I feel I may have to read some of what you all have written in order to get up to speed. Please bear with me.

Most would agree. But remember that the city folks who send their kids to private schools are also paying for this failing school system!! Kinda like adding insult to injury.....yes?

Oh, I am a city resident. My taxes are higher than my actual mortgage...and then I have to pay for two kids to go to private school on top of it just so I can make sure they can read and write ...yeah, it's like a hot poker up the...well you get the idea.

Confused and not sure of what's going on, just like the rest of your alter egos.

Quoted from CICERO
If teachers and administrators were paid 6 figure salaries, then they might be able to get through to these kids. MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. MONEY...

Gravel Gertie's Mama in da house! If only the oppressed taxpayers dumped another $20 million into these failed government schools-still nothing would improve. "Underpaid teachers"-ROTFLMAO! It gets tiring paying the most for no results. Pay less and still be the worst district in the region. Ditto at City Hall/Town Hall. This County desperately needs a new K-12 charter school. Don't care what "educational experts" Taxin Tonko, DVOR/Hamburgler and Eric Elys say.
