I'm sure McCain looked at the polling data for MANY VP candidates..but he needed a game change, as per the movie. It was a hail mary, he could not have known how unprepared she was. When you are in the same party with a president that has two unpopular wars and a failing economy, you don't have much of a choice. I don't think Lincoln could have won this election.

Palin was great on tv. That is what she does best. As far as the McCain/Palin ticket......it was a joke and orchestrated from day one. They knew obamamomma would win by a landslide. Both parties are equally part of the same corrupt system.

Funny part....is while the reps are screaming about 'big government'..........they are actually welcoming the accomplishment of the liberals......so the reps can eventually control it and not take the blame for it!!! And the sheople fall for it every time!!

Yea... Palin was Awesome on TV!
Watch Palin on TV, with some very difficult questions:

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Scary to think a good lookin bimbo was nominated for the 2nd highest office in the land... Doesn't say much for today's Republican Party.

...And it is the Republican Party waging a "war on women".

Democrats treat women with respect...as long as they don't stray off the reservation.

YUP!  Palin's a Bimbo!

From Dictionary.com:
bimbo:
1. a foolish, stupid, or inept person. (Palin qualifies on all three counts)
2. an attractive but stupid young woman.

From the World English Dictionary:
World English Dictionary
bimbo
1. an attractive but empty-headed young woman

As I posted, there are a lot of well educated, well qualified women in the Republican party, even though
I don't personally agree with their views, they are qualified for the job of VP.
The GOP war on women disregarded those qualified women (or men) and opted instead for a flashy Bimbo.
Again... it doesn't say much for today's Republican Party.

I'd love to see Palin doing an in depth interview with foreign leaders...
Palin... "What did you say your name was again"???
Palin... "What country did you say you were from"???
Palin... "Is it true that you're a godless Muslim, Hindu or Buddhist... I always get them mixed up".
And...
If Palin really wants to hit hard... "What newspapers and magazines do you read"?
  "GOTCHA!"

Bryant Gumbel 'Embarrassed' By Sarah Palin's 'Today' Appearance
Posted: 04/ 9/2012 8:14 am Updated: 04/ 9/2012 10:35 am

At least one former "Today" alum was not impressed with the show's decision to bring in Sarah Palin as a co-host last week.

Bryant Gumbel, who led the show for fifteen years and returned to "Today" for its sixtieth anniversary reunion show, told Howard Kurtz that he was "embarrassed" by the move.

NBC brought in Palin as a response to Katie Couric's week-long stint on rival "Good Morning America." It became the most hyped iteration of the long-running morning show wars for some time. "Today" is pulling out all the stops to fend off a resurgent "GMA" in the ratings. Palin's one-day gig helped top the ABC show. ("Today" also brought back Meredith Vieira, officially dubbing her a "legend.".......................>>>>................>>>>................http://www.huffingtonpost.com/.....t&comm_ref=false

If you read what many on John McCain's campaign have to say about Palin... she was also an embarrassment
to their Presidential campaign.  They assumed that she was competent and qualified... she wasn't.

Really Shadow??? Really???
That works for you???

You compare an Obama mistake in 2008 to Palin's total lack of knowledge??? As if some how one negates
the other???

OK... If that works for you!   Go for it.

What made Obama qualified? Being a community organizer or was it that he wasn't a "bimbo" because he's clearly an idiot - just not a female one?

His record as president shows he wasn't qualified...That is why he is running against the "Bush Economy" and the republican "war on women", and NOT running on but rather running away from OBAMACARE, BAILIOUTS, STIMULUS $4 A GALLON GAS, SOLYNDRA BANKRUPCY and his inability to pass a budget in over 1000 days of his presidency.

Um... He was qualified enough to do what GWB couldn't do in 7 1/2 years as president... Kill Osama Bin Laden.

He killed a lot more people than just Bin Laden - he even succeeded assassinating an American citizen - drone style.  Not to mention the internment camp in Cuba.  Oh yeah, and the Arab Spring in Egypt was quite successful.
