[color=green][/color][b][/b]I am not an expert on the constitution or bill of rights.  We all take 'common' notions of what these documents mean.  The supreme court has proven that law degrees, high IQ's, good SAT scores , etc. means nothing, it is whether you are left or right.

If the supreme court is EXPECTED to vote according to 'insight' based on their ideology & whom appointed them, the court is worthless.  The court is more about 'public opinion' than the law.

I believe Lincoln (R) & FDR (D) defied the constitution or bill of rights.  Others may have but I am not an expert on past presidents.

Does man serve the law or the law serve man, I guess Jesus got that one wrong, if 'man' is an a.. h... do we want the law adjudicating from an anal position?  This is what we have in America today.

Not long ago a man started a fire in vicinity of I-95 Florida.  Many people were injured & killed due to smoke.  I heard a lawyer on FOX say that the intent of the arson was not to kill drivers on I-95, therefore the arsonist could not be held culpable.  INSANE!

The organ, structure of almost all governments are the same.  Court, police, recording office (county clerks), etc.  Yet the expectation, practices, vary greatly.  This is because of the intent.  America had the right intent at it's inception, that is changing fast.  Whatever your view on God in public places, God is the canary in the mine (mind) of America.  If you do not believe in God, fine, he (God the myth) is still a canary.

Separation of church & state was meant to mean NO STATE RELIGION.  God being stricken from the public domain was not the separation thing, just a perverse corruption.  Much like our court system.

I may not at least as qualified to sit on the supreme court as those artifacts on the court.

PS  During the terror of the Third Reich, everything the Nazi's did was within the law, their law.  Much of the Waffen SS elite were lawyers.  Control the law, you control the people - right?  A subservient press is helpful also.
