The NEW Glendale home WILL be built and I can only hope it is renamed after the venerable Dr. Brian Gordon -- who through his tireless commitment to the frail seniors who are in need -- has made the new home a reality .... It WILL be built and the fabulous staff WILL be unionized -- thereby insuring quality care with COMPASSION!

Again, there ARE private nursing homes. Since neither health insurnace plans, medigap plans, nor medicare pay for nursing home stays, it is medicaid - that coverage for the poor -- that pays the nursing homa and it DOES pay for private nursing homes.
So, ham, tell us why the need to spend tens of millions to build a public nursing home when there are many many private ones?

The county's nursing home, with all the complains, with all the putting frail seniors in jeopardy, wow. Would you put your parents or spouse in here with problems?
