From this weeks bulletin:

$60k for insurance - and that's over and above their "assessment" ???

No word yet on how they're doing with the Bishop's money grab appeal, but also in the bulletin they're threatening follow up letters to those that haven't opened their wallets even further contributed yet

Another heard in the parking lot, they want to get people from St John's to not put money in their envelopes to send the message.

I certainly hope that these folks from St. Johns follow this idea! DON'T PUT $$$ IN THE ENVELOPES!!! Great idea!

One can always tithe for another cause.

If anyone ever doubted that satan and evil existed -- all they would have to do is read the anti-Catholic bashing coming from the nayboobs.  The world would be a better place without their hate-filled vitriol and negativity.

I would think that bashing anti-Catholics would be favorable to you.

Alumni and friends are invited to join us at the Western Turnpike Pavilion on June 19th from 5 to 9 as we end our school year not in sadness but with smiles in SJE style~ food, games, ice cream truck, DJ & Karaoke! RSVP to school 393-5331 no later than June 8th. Please make checks payable to Mallozzi's, the cost is $15 per person. This is not a fundraiser just a night of fun! Questions? Call the school or Rick Voris at 858-8290.

It is an end of an era; 148 years of fine Catholic education for the residents of Schenectady is soon coming to an end. For all those who have shown their support, are alumni, parish members or family, please come and celebrate with us as we say goodbye.

All you can eat and it's NOT a fundraiser -- DV will be there, happy to support the pastor as he eliminates the last Catholic school in the city, DV wins - all children MUST go to the "government school" as it will help the renaissance in the city.

Of all the families I have spoken to the only ones who are sending their children to the "government schools" are those who live in districts other than Schenectady. I know of a few families who are in the process of moving out of the city all together, but most who are within the district boundaries are sending their children to St Helen's or St Madelaine Sophie.

The city just lost the only school that could realistically attract a Renaissance style family...

Is the city school district going to provide the bus transportation to the schools outside the city for the kids going outside the city?
