MikeChristine posting as an alter-ego "Parent" has been exposed.
Oh look at DV...... I proved him WRONG. I provided THE EVIDENCE that Parent and I are NOT the same person. The EVIDENCE is that BOTH of us were signed in AT THE SAME TIME.
DV can't handle the proof that he is WRONG. He tells LIES all the time. He NEVER provides PROOF, he NEVER provides EVIDENCE.
So, dV, where is the evidence that all the taxpayers' money thrown at downtown has increaed the TAXABLE tax base???? Where is the EVIDENCE that all that money sent downtown has increaed home values, lowered taxes, stopped the city from reducing services, etc, etc????? NOT ONE TEENY WEENY SHRED OF EVIDENCE of his claims of the city being improved!!!

Gee so you posted the website that I already mentioned that has not been updated in over a year. Those students would maybe be a help to St Johns if we had been allowed to advertise to them but we were forbidden from informing the of the date of St John's open house. The reason given by the center was that we are competition and so we were not allowed to give out flyers or information even for 1st-6th. You know nothing about the situation!
You should not upset yourself and waste time arguing with this contrarian knowitall motherfu(ker. He is a buffoon who doesn't work, is a 50 year old bachelor who lives with two old ladies, and makes up stories all day when he isn't looking at certain websites on youtube. Then the democraps let him run around and be the chief fundraiser in Rotterdam and the Supervisor even goes as far as appointing the no-talent as$clown to the town planning commission even though he has no experience, no resume, no background, nothing to show for his life, and never ran a business or had experience in "planning" anything bigger than tea time for a few little old ladies. He is such a queen that proudly expounds how Catholic he is that his hypocrisy is enough to make you puke. DON'T engage with him on anything like this since he knows NOTHING of what you have to deal with in the way of familial issues and your children. He excels ate one thing and that is getting decent people who come here to get information or to discuss things riled up and turned off with civic affairs. He dreams the most grandiose dreams of grandeur that it makes Don Quixote seem like a hardcore realist and he implies to all that he is an expert on everything from apple cider production to Zebra hunting. IGNORE HIM.
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
So DV, again, tell us WHY the pastor REFUSED to tell the parents---just 10 days before issuing the letter to them-- that the school was imminent danger of closing??????
Huh??????
Tell us DV, WHY did the pastor CRAFTIILY and CAREFLULLY plan the announcement at the very time he would not be available to face them?????
Huh??????????
He COULD have waited until his return and and schedule the Masses so that HE, HIMSELF, would say ALL the Masses at St John's in one weekend and make the announcement AND then be available after the Masses to talk to the people. So tell us DV, why didn't he wait until he could face the parents at the time of their shock which had no warning??????? Come on DV, if you know so much, if you have the so called "facts" tell us why the pastor CRAFTILY planned the announcement to be made when he would be away??????

I trust you all notice that Fr Carlino has NOT had St John's website updated. Why not???? No bulletins at all on there.
The church bulletins announce who will be saying Mass for the following week.
St John's - Fr Carlino doesn't bother posting the bulletins, wonder why.
St Anthony's, they have the bulletins. But isn't it interesting that they do NOT have the bulletin from this past weekend (March 25) which would list which Masses and where Fr Carlino will be saying Mass this coming weekend (i.e., on April Fools Day). he doesn't want parents to know when he will be available??????
I'll bet he will avoid saying Mass at St John's on this coming Sunday, April 1. I may be wrong, but just a hunch

There were signs on the fences along Nott Terrace and Eastern Avenue FOR MONTHS informing everyone who passed by that there was ongoing registration at St. John's School --- so I hardly believe that the parents of children who attended the Early Childhood Center at St. Anthony's were unaware of it.
Additionally, if a parent was interested in Catholic education for their children -- they could certainly ask around or even look in the phone book .. and would have discovered that there were TWO Catholic Schools in the city.
And I just don't believe your allegations that there was some nefarious attempt to keep information about the existence of St.. John's School from anybody.

Father Carlino should be back this Sunday-- it is Palm Sunday. At least we were told he would be back fir the 1st.
Hopefully he will address these issues. Does he have an email?

My guess, he will NOT say Mass at St. John's. He will probably do the Italian Mass early morning at St Anthony's, and then he will do the Spanish Mass in the later morning.
He won't be back for the Saturday evening Masses
We'll see how accurate I am. Just a gut feeling.

Not for his flock to know. You can't even send an email to a general e-mail "box" at St John's!

Perhaps DV can explain why the pastor Carlino is closing the school when the state of NY is INCREASING aid to Catholic schools??????
Perhaps DV can explain why the pastor their doesn't even havce those music books or missals anymore. I heard they have xeroxed papers in the pews. Gee, TALK ABOUT A TOTAL WASTE OF PAPER!!!!!!!
Heard he avoided any comment this past Sunday, wonder why.

Seems like not it's not only the parents of St John's students that are having issues with the pastor.
Check out what St Anthony's parishoners apparently have been saying, and what Carlino had put in the bulletin
Quoted Text
Fr. Carlino's Trip to Israel: To clarify and answer a question that has been legitimately asked by some, Fr. Carlino wishes to reassure any/all parishioners that there is no expense whatsoever to either St. John's or St. Anthony's Churches whenever he travels to Israel, Italy, or any foreign country.
I guess he pays for his junkets with money that grows on trees.
Gee, the cost for a typical trip is about the equivalent of two students' tuitions

In all fairness, it's not atypical for the trip coordinator to pay the way for clergy to "shepherd" the group en-route and during the pilgrimage. I was involved with the planning of several of these trips, and had the opportunity to take one such pilgrimage several years ago - bringing a priest was customary, and the cost built into the overall price shared amongst others. Of course, so was the organizer.
