The town of Guilderland now has an "acting assessor" as listed on their web page
Sorry...My M-659 "Mindreader" Mk.IV is in the repair shop this week, so I can't read your mind on the details.

So who got escorted out? Who replaced whom? Explain. I am not following any of it.
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
GUILDERLAND — Town officials fired Assessor John Macejka last week, and asked police to escort him out of Town Hall afterward. Town Supervisor Ken Runion gave no comment on the decision. Guilderland police said offi cers were called to escort Macejka from Town Hall as a precaution. He caused no trouble, they said. Macejka had worked in Rotterdam for many years before his contract there was not renewed in 2007, a decision he blamed on the politics of a town where power has alternately shifted between Democrats and Republicans in recent years. Macejka returned to Rotterdam as the part-time assessor last year, staggering his shifts to run after his Guilderland job. Then the Rotterdam Town Board voted to end his term on Dec. 31, 2011, saying they had hired him only for a one-year trial. Macejka tried to fight that on the grounds that government bodies cannot hire assessors for just one year, and the state Department of Real Property Services seemed to corroborate that. The state said assessors could either be hired for a six-month trial while they got their certifi cation, or for a six-year term. His status in Rotterdam could not be determined Monday.
this is the second rotterdam dem official that guilderland has arrested/kicked out....first constantino...now Majecka!

I hear there's an open position of 3rd Deputy Town Clerk ... might be a battle between Ronnie and John though. Wonder which one is closer to his retirement and needs just a little more time ...
