Fire breaks out at Schenectady home
Posted: Mar 08, 2012 11:38 PM EST
SCHENECTADY, NY - A fire broke out on James Street in Schenectady on Friday evening.

The incident happened at approximately 6:45 p.m. at a two family house located at 82 James Street.

The fire apparently started on the front porch and moved quickly into the second floor, and then up to the attic.

The Schenectady Fire Department says it was able to knock the fire down quickly.

There were no injuries and no sign of arson.

And what do the dems do?????    They charge financially struggling homeowners with code violations if the houses numbers are not the size that the dems want them to be.

But do the dems go charging residents (tenants or owners) with violations when a BBQ grill is on a porch?   Especially on a second floor porch?   Oh, I guess it's not a violation to have a grill on a porch.  I guess if you have one on your 2nd floor porch it's just there so it won't get stolen?   I guess every day, you bring it into your house, carry it down the stairs and bring it to your back yard, yes?   Heck, the propane tank alone is heavy enough.   And then after you're done BBQing, you bring it back up the stairs, through the house, and put it on the front porch.   ROFL.
