Schenectady

A 39-year-old man charged with raping a young girl over several years and killing their newborn baby said he was motivated by "lust" in a suicide note he allegedly wrote before unsuccessfully trying to take his own life.

The one-page note was admitted into evidence Monday as Schenectady County prosecutors rested their case against Herman Robinson of Schenectady, who faces 25 years to life in prison if convicted of murder, rape and predatory sexual assault charges.

The letter, allegedly written by Robinson on Dec. 10, 2013, contained damning statements in which the defendant apologized for the very acts with which he is charged.

the 'father' did his own abortion,,,,I'm not defending the rape here, but according to Box the woman would do this anyhow and would
always be the only person making the choice....is this murder or abortion?

a woman has to go through a psychological eval before having abortion or tubes tied...why? to make sure they are not 'him'?

Outrage Grows Over Congress’ 29th Assault Against Women in 4 Month

Quoted Text
The Republican series on how to incentivize rape while claiming they don’t have
a war on women continues. The House of Representatives has voted 242-184 to pass
a bill that would ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy. The votes split along party
lines with just four Republicans voting against it, one voting present, and four Democrats
voting for it.

"This is the 29th time in four months that Congress has tried to restrict abortion, which is
outrageous. The American public does not want politicians to interfere in women’s
personal medical decisions and does not want Congress to spend its time on this.

“While women should not have to justify their personal medical decisions, the reality is
that abortion later in pregnancy is very rare and often happens under very complex
circumstances — the very kind of circumstances where a woman and her doctor need
every medical option available to them.”

They aren’t alone. 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Secretary Hillary Clinton’s
senior policy adviser Maya Harris pointed out that Republicans are putting women’s
health at risk in a statement, “The bill puts women’s health and rights at risk, undermines
the role doctors play in health care decisions, burdens survivors of sexual assault,
and is not based on sound science.”

“Obviously rape is awful,” but
“What is beautiful is the child that could come from this.”

Yea Brian... especially if it's your wife or daughter or mom who gets raped and gets
pregnant!  That would be a "beautiful thing"! (@sshole)

Quoted Text
A Republican state lawmaker in West Virginia said on Thursday that while rape is horrible,
it’s “beautiful” that a child could be produced in the attack.

The Charleston Gazette reporter David Gutman was on the scene when Delegate Brian Kurcaba
(R) said, “Obviously rape is awful,” but “What is beautiful is the child that could come from this.”

So what you're saying is the child, who has no choice in how they were conceived, is to be labeled an abomination for their entire life?

It's a tragedy for everyone involved... even the child.  These GOP @ssholes are all for abortion when
it involves their wife or their girlfriend, but oppose abortion when they are passing legislation for
everyone else.

An example:
A pro-life, family-values congressman who worked as a doctor before winning election
as a Tea Party-backed Republican had an affair with a patient and later pressured her to
get an abortion.
Quoted Text
"You told me you'd have an abortion, and now we're getting too far along without one,"
DesJarlais tells the woman at one point in the call while negotiating with her over whether
he'll reveal her identity to his wife. They then discuss whether he will accompany her to a
procedure to end the sort of life the congressman now describes as "sacred."
"You told me you would have time to go with me and everything," the woman complains.
"I said, if I could, I would, didn't I? And I will try," DesJarlais says. "If I can [find] time,
you're saying you still will?"
"Yeah," the woman answers.

This TeaBagger is all for abortion when it's his pregnancy that he wants ended, but for everyone
else... Screw you..."Life Is Sacred"!
Low Life Scumbag!  "Do as I say, not as I do!

The GOP Keeps On Killing Women

Worldwide, fewer and fewer women are dying during pregnancy or from complications related
to childbirth. In fact, women living almost anywhere in the developed world are safer today,
than they were in the year 2000. Here in the United States, however, women are twice as likely
to die during or after pregnancy, than they were 15 years ago.

According to the latest State of the World’s Mothers report, released in May, 2015, the U.S.
has the highest rate of maternal death in any western nation. Women in the U.S. are ten
times more likely to die from pregnancy as women living in Poland or Norway. Compared to
women living in Belarus, the country with the lowest rate of maternal deaths, women in the
U.S. are twenty times more likely to die before, during, or immediately after childbirth.

Globally, the rate of maternal deaths has been steadily declining over the past two decades.
Around the world, the rate of maternal deaths has been reduced by 45 percent since the
mid-1990’s. Meanwhile, a woman’s risk of death from pregnancy in the U.S. today is double
what it was a decade and a half ago.

The republican War on Women is not just a catchphrase used by the left. Every war has
casualties, and this one is no different. Government restrictions on reproductive rights have
a direct impact on women’s health and well-being. While national statistics can be informational,
it’s also important to understand that not all states are equal, when it comes to maternal deaths.

Quoted Text
A 2014 report by the Center for Reproductive Rights shows that states
that have the highest number of abortion restrictions, score lowest on
women’s overall health. On the contrary, states with the least amount
of restrictions on abortion are doing a much better job of protecting
women’s health.

The 11 states with the worst overall well-being scores were Oklahoma
(14 restrictions; ranked 48th in wellbeing),
Arkansas (11 restrictions; ranked 48th in well-being),
Florida (11 restrictions; ranked 48th in wellbeing),
Indiana (13 restrictions; ranked 40th in well-being),
Texas (12 restrictions; ranked 40th in well-being),
Kentucky (10 restrictions; ranked 40th in well-being),
Alabama (12 restrictions; ranked 40th in well-being),
Mississippi (14 restrictions; ranked 33rd in well-being),
Arizona (13 restrictions; ranked 33rd in well-being),
Missouri (13 restrictions; ranked 33rd in well-being),
and Georgia (11 restrictions; ranked 33rd in well-being).
All of these states uniformly have high numbers of abortion
restrictions.

The 10 states with the best overall well-being scores were
New Hampshire (2 restrictions; ranked 1st in wellbeing),
Iowa (6 restrictions; ranked 2nd in well-being),
Vermont (0 restrictions; ranked 2nd in well-being),
New Jersey (3 restrictions; ranked 4th in well-being),
Connecticut (3 restrictions; ranked 5th in well-being),
Minnesota (6 restrictions; ranked 5th in well-being),
Maine (4 restrictions; ranked 7th in well-being),
Massachusetts (6 restrictions; ranked 8th in well-being),
Rhode Island (9 restrictions; ranked 9th in wellbeing),
Washington (1 restriction; ranked 9th in well-being).

Abortion regret is not a thing

A new study from Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health shows that,
contrary to anti-choice claims that women who get abortions regret the decision
and spiral into depression because of it, abortion regret isn’t actually a real thing.
This is from a study examining women who both got an abortion and those who
wanted one and didn’t get it. Over 600 women who did get an abortion were asked,
both immediately after the abortion and three years after the fact, how they feel
about it. A full 95 percent reported that abortion was the right decision for them.
Ninety-five percent.

GOP Readies New Push Against Abortion

“In recent years, Republicans have worked to soften their tone when it comes to
contentious issues such as abortion, wanting to avoid a repeat of gaffes like
Todd Akin’s ‘legitimate rape’ comments that have turned off many female voters,”
(Politico).

“The video does not demonstrate that Planned Parenthood is ‘selling’ fetal tissue,” .
“In fact, many portions of the full video — edited out of the
nine-minute version that House Republicans have circulated — directly contradict
the allegation that Planned Parenthood has violated federal law.”

http://www.politico.com/story/.....3.html#ixzz3g99qDikd

(Remember the bogus ACORN Video Hoax?  It was a lie, but helped Republicans
at the polls.  This is the latest version of those tactics.  For the Republican Party,
LYING WORKS!)

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said Friday that he will
demand a vote next week on defunding Planned Parenthood
after the release of a video this week that shows a Planned
Parenthood executive candidly discussing the donation of
fetal organs.

Rand Paul's War on Women:

~Planned Parenthood often is the only source of family planning for a large
proportion of the women we serve.
~2.7 million women and men in the United States annually visit Planned Parenthood
affiliate health centers for trusted health care services and information.
~One in five women in the U.S. has visited a Planned Parenthood health center at least
once in her life.
~Planned Parenthood health centers focus on prevention: 80 percent of our clients receive
services to prevent unintended pregnancy.
~Planned Parenthood services help prevent approximately 516,000 unintended pregnancies
each year.
~Planned Parenthood provides nearly 400,000 Pap tests and nearly 500,000 breast exams
each year, critical services in detecting cancer.
~Planned Parenthood provides nearly 4.5 million tests and treatments for sexually transmitted
infections, including 700,00 HIV tests.
~Three percent of all Planned Parenthood health services are abortion services.

What Is Rand Paul's Plan To Fund These Services For The Women of America?
He Has None!

He's entitled to his beliefs.

But all person's have the same right.

It's when someone tries to use force on others, to force their beliefs on others, that rights are destroyed.

I actually congratulate him for having the courage to value all life as a gift from God, as part of his beliefs.

But then he throws his pro-life/gifts from God, BS, out the window and declares that he's in favor of upgrading our military conflicts to full fledged wars.

He's another one of them pro-war, pro-executions, pro-lifers, who believe that eggs need saving but grown humans are OK to kill.

The GOP War On Women Continues...

GOP Extremists Tie Gov. Funding To Planned Parenthood Defunding Bill

"Women Lose Their Breast Cancer Exams, Or We'll Shut Down The GOVT!!!"
(Total @SSHOLES)

Quoted Text
GOP extremists in Congress are using the debunked videos of Planned Parenthood
employees discussing the organization’s fetal tissue program to strip them of their federal
funding. Republicans plan on accomplishing this by tying a bill that defunds the non-profit
health organization to a government spending bill that has to pass in the fall.

Who needs Planned Parenthood when they can have Obamacare to take care of their needs, they could go to a real hospital instead of an abortion clinic which isn't prepared to handle emergencies that can occur during procedures.
