one can call them 'cells' all they want if the goal is to make palatable what humans are. Here's the deal, a woman isn't stupid and knows that those 'cells' can turn out
to be a baby and gets them removed. Either way it's the end of a living organism, zygote, appendix what ever we want to call it.

so Box, you are half right, but the other half is that women are that aware and willing to remove life just as much as a man. Now that's palatable.

Today, Republicans in the Senate blocked the Paycheck Fairness Act by filibustering the bill. The legislation
would have strengthened protections for women who are being paid less because of their gender by creating
larger penalties for employers who discriminate, creating more transparency of salaries so that women know
whether they are being paid less, and protecting those who sue for pay equity.

Still plugging away at this one...The democrats really tee'd this one up for the Republicans.  Do they really want to talk about paycheck fairness when so many women are out of work in this Obama economy?

All they have to say is let's worry about getting women a paycheck first

if a woman decides to get pregnant 3 times over a 10 year period...missing weeks of work, say 6-12 as is allowed....when she returns what is her performance based on?
child labor?
Now I get that men don't 'take leave' and MIGHT have more hours in work to judge their performance by...
when women 'go out' to procreate they also lose the SS $ they would have deposited had they been working and not procreating,,,,they chose NOT to have an abortion
daddy needs to make more $$ to allow for lifestyle + one more?????
however, if mom is out of work and no daddy in house but available....WIC kicks in.....

career women do NOT understand this.....they can afford daycare/nanny etc....and yes they get paid less because they are NOT available to have their performance
judged while they are 'out with child'...hence lower pay for lack of performance.....

hourly workers return to the same old same old crap....although companies change their review date to when they return so a woman technically could be behind
1 year in raises based on three 12 week family/child leave....

how about a petrie dish to solve the problem....or........return to the farm......the cities strip humankind of it's kindness......

Just as the GOP War on Women seemed to be fading...
A new initiative by Republicans has been advanced to revive the battle.

In House Republicans’ latest attack on women, Rep. Denny Rehberg (R-MT) released a labor, health,
and education spending bill on Tuesday that would allow employers to deny contraception coverage
for “moral reasons.”

And the bill goes further. It would stop Planned Parenthood clinics from receiving federal funding until the
health organization certifies that it no longer offers abortions, despite the fact that Planned Parenthood
does not use federal funds on abortion services, and it attempts to halt Obamacare funding.

(More Women Switching Their Vote To Obama!!!)

They can't prove they dont use federal funds for abortions....it's like public schools and any other facility that
accepts federal funds can't prove who is eating who's food.....

although I don't really care if federal funds are used for abortions....it's choice....I don't have to have one....

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS A SYSTEM, MACHINE....

from both directions

it's not there to make you have a happy life

it's not there to tell you morally what to do

it has limitations and boundaries agreed upon by these human animals we call ourselves--AMERICANS....

I don't have to feed you

I don't have to have an abortion

so food stamps are just as wrong as restricting abortion

Another incoherent rant that makes little sense and as far as I can tell is off topic.  Who knows!

if it's good for the goose to have an abortion

then it's okay for the gander not to have food stamps

because the goose removed the mouth to be fed

I'd say it was pretty straightforward in a convoluted world....

I can't believe how dependant women are on government - so much for women's liberation.  I don't know how you can be liberated and dependant on handouts at the same time.  I guess in the upside down world we are currently living in,  you can be liberated from personal responsibility through dependancy on government.

That is how totalitarians redefine words to confuse the people.
