Actually there are apartments with less square footage in some of the surrounding towns that are more expensive. Personally I think that the rents in schenectady county are OUT OF SIGHT!!! However, they say that most are all rented.

So who gets the rents on these?

For certain, someone who is well-heeled and/or politically connected.   And while they collect the rent (IF the places get rented), they will be exempt from paying property & school taxes as the taxes will  be paid by the financially struggling homeonwers

Looked it up and it shows Albany Ventures Inc.  Looks like its Galesi.  $1.2 million assessment and fully tax exempted.  Bought it for $175,000.

Sounds great -- another sign of the Democrat-led RENAISSANCE in Schenectady County.

The FACT that you REFUSE to move into one of these taxpayer paid/subsidized places due to guarantee of personal financial loss proves there is no renaissance.

Another "fully tax exempted"! McMayor sat like a bump on a log on the Metrograft bored and approved this. Then he wonders why his revenue projections were off by only $10 MILLION. You can't make this up. The State must appoint a control board to take over finances in the Vampire City.

The building that contains Bowtie cinema is 400 State st.

409 is across State st and is the 2nd building from Broadway.

The house numbers are clearly visible on google street view.

Valued at over a million, sold for less than one third of the value, plus wholly tax exempt.

Yippee!
