IF IT WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR REAGAN.... Planned Parenthood has received federal funding since 1970, when President Richard Nixon signed into law the Family Planning Services and Population Research Act, amending the Public Health Service Act. Title X of that law provides funding for family planning services, including contraception and family planning information. The law enjoyed bipartisan support from liberals who saw contraception access as increasing families' control over their lives, and conservatives who saw it as a way to keep people off welfare. Wait, "since 1970"? If this is accurate -- and I've seen this date referenced elsewhere -- this means that every federal budget for more than four decades has provided public funds to Planned Parenthood and the preventative health care services they provide.
That would include, by the way, budgets approved under five Republican presidents -- Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush, and Bush -- none of whom saw the need to scrap funding for the health organization.Indeed, every Republican lawmaker who supported budgets under GOP administrations -- a large group of long-time members, including Speaker John Boehner -- voted to fund Planned Parenthood, over and over again. Nothing has changed as far as the organization is concerned. The only thing that's changed is the radicalism of new Republican Party, which seems inclined to shut down the government rather than allow working-class and low-income women from accessing contraception, family planning services, pap smears, cancer screenings, and tests for sexually-transmitted diseases. (I wonder if Bumbler thinks that Speaker John Boehner as well as US Presidents Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Daddy Bush, and Baby Bush were also "HOODWINKED ") The Washington Monthly http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/archives/individual/2011_04/028862.php |

Barry Goldwater & Planned Parenthood
In his final term in the U.S. Senate, Barry Goldwater adopted a pro-choice position, voting in 1983 against a constitutional amendment that would have reversed Roe v. Wade and returned legislative authority over abortion to the states.
Back in 1937, his wife Peggy Goldwater had become a founding member of Planned Parenthood of Arizona, and the couple remained active in the organization throughout Goldwater's Senate career. Though he initially rejected Planned Parenthood's position on abortion, his long association with the group would ultimately make a convert of him, also as he personally approved of his daughter Joanne’s illegal abortion in 1951, as recounted in the HBO documentary Mr. Conservative.

America Used to Agree on Public Funding for Family Planning. What Happened?
In 1969, an enthusiastic supporter of publicly-funded family planning services sent a message to Congress. "It is clear that the domestic family planning services supported by the Federal Government should be expanded and better integrated," he wrote . "It is my view that no American woman should be denied access to family planning assistance because of her economic condition." (Richard Nixon)
These words did not come from a Planned Parenthood official or a radical feminist. They came from President Richard Nixon, and at the time they were hardly revolutionary. The following year, Nixon signed a law that became known as Title X, dramatically expanding federal government funding for family planning services for low-income women. |

In the 1960s and early 1970s there was a bipartisan consensus that access to family planning was a "universal human right," as the proposed Title X legislation said.
Politicians in both parties celebrated the public-private partnership that linked government funding with non-profit organizations to provide services for poor women. In 1967, Congressman George H.W. Bush urged federal agencies to "work even more closely with going private agencies such as Planned Parenthood" to provide access to birth control for all American women.
George HW Bush must have been "Hoodwinked too". Or, could it be...That It's Bumbler Who IS Being "HOODWINKED"? |

Efforts to liberalize abortion laws also had popular support. In June 1972, a Gallup poll showed: ~ that 64 percent of respondents agreed with the statement that: "the decision to have an abortion should be made solely by a woman and her physician."~including 68 percent of Republicans ~and 56 percent of Catholics- Ever since its earliest days, Planned Parenthood has counted among its supporters prominent members of the Republican Party. As early as 1942, Connecticut Senator Prescott Bush grandfather of President George W. Bush, was a supporter of Margaret Sanger’s American Birth Control League, and in 1947, served as the treasurer for the first national campaign for Planned Parenthood.More Of Bumbles "Hoodwinked" Republicans! |

And as if these FACTS were not enough... I saved the best for last. Bumbler and Shadow... Check this out: The United States Ambassador to the United Nations under the Nixon Administration, President George H.W. Bush wrote a letter to Alan Guttmacher (founder of the Guttmacher Institute) congratulating him on creation of a "family planning" stamp commemorating... (gasp!! NO! SAY IT ISN"T SO!) Margaret Sanger.Talk about Hoodwinked! |

Already has been shown...You just refuse to believe it
EXACTLY! You can't cure stupidity. Again.......the truth of the matter is........PP was founded on Sanger's direction of eliminating the parasitic black. It is no coincidence that the first PP was set up in Harlem. That most of today's PP's are set up in parasitic black neighborhoods. Sanger is the one who inspired Adolf Hitler in his views of eugenics and 'murdering socially undesirable people.' Ya don't have to 'cut and paste.....just go to the library and read the books. The Holacost for the jews has ended.........not for the parasitic blacks!! Sanger is quoted saying.....'We do not want word to get out that we want to exterminate the Negro population'. Not the KKK nor the Aryan Nations, nor the Nazis. These words came from the founder of PP....the largest provider and promoter of legal abortion in the u.s.. Shame on anyone who is proud of being pro-choice, and should know more about the most responsible person for the pro-abortion-rights movement and abortion industry in history!! Thank God that the black have the WHITE RIGHT to defend and reverence and protect their lives. Cause even Obama....one of their own....is trying to kill them all off. Don't empower them.........just kill them! |

"There are none so blind as those who will not see."
I stand by my support for PP. Your lies about Sanger don't concern me. Dr Martin Luther King, or Nixon, or GHW Bush, or Barry Goldwater, or a whole bunch of Americans know propaganda when they read it. Do you still believe that King, Nixon, GHWBush, Goldwater were all "hoodwinked"?
I know the truth and so does America. |

a bunch of 'medical men' cheerleading for women having their uterus scraped is NOT a miracle, nor is it a savior...any man who says that it's CHOICE, doesn't realise that abortion has been going on for millenia overseen by WOMEN....
so being a cheerleader doesn't make one any more progressive than the folks who OWNED it prior......it just makes them supporters of 'the system' no matter how closed it is.....

I'm glad that you agree " that NO federal $$$ go to abortions"... You'd be surprised how many times I read people objecting to Federal Dollars to PP because they think it funds abortion. |

Abortion and birth control as we know it today was sold under the guise of 'CHOICE'. It was a great selling point to acquire the end result..............Eliminate the parasitic blacks, the disabled or mentally ill from society.
So the truth is that there is really a segregated part of society that has no choice.. The dumbed down element of society was hoodwinked into thinking it was CHOICE!
This was 'factually' the goal of both Sanger and Hitler! They were racist in it's true form. PP is their legacy and a 'legal' death sentence aimed at the parasitic blacks first and foremost!! |

No one has tied this at all with the Schenectady City Schools yet? Interesting.
Schenectady has a sex ed program in which parents have to opt in. No PP involved, simply that the schools have an opt-in rather than opt-out policy.
Wondering why, in a school where over 100 girls are pregnant each year, why the sex ed program is only offered to those stuudents whose parents fill out the forms.
Want to talk about perpetuating a cycle? Why didn't PP emplore the schools to teach these girls basic sex ed ...or is it that the Schenectady students are PP's best customers? |
