First Niagara closing 11 branches locally
Six will be HSBC branches, while five will be its ownBy Larry Rulison Updated 01:10 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2012 ALBANY — First Niagara Bank is closing five of its own branches and six HSBC Bank branches in the Capital Region as part of its acquisition of HSBC's branches. The six HSBC branches that are closing are located at 30 S. Pearl St. in Albany; 100 Mohawk St. in Cohoes; 492 Troy-Schenectady Road in Latham; 600 Second Ave. in Troy; 3025 Route 50 in Saratoga Springs, and 335 Main St. in Catskill.
