Bridal party gets rambunctious
SCHENECTADY — It was a wedding party gone awry.
Or at least that’s how one Schenectady police dispatcher described it after six police cars responded to a tussle that broke out among members of a large bridal party Tuesday night on Campbell Avenue in Bellevue.
Police showed up to the scene sometime after 9 p.m. to break up the yelling match among about 10 or 15 members of the wedding party.
There were no injuries and no arrests from the Valentine’s Day brouhaha, just a “lot of yelling and screaming,” the dispatcher said.
