Gas leak forces evacuations in Schenectady Updated 12:15 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2012
SCHENECTADY - A cleaning crew ruptured a gas line inside a Strong Street home Tuesday morning, filling the nearby neighborhood with the smell of natural gas and forcing the evacuation of surrounding homes.
A National Grid crew was able to stop the flow of gas at 1064 Strong St.
