Amedore takes step toward Senate run
Assemblyman awaits outcome of district map plan

CAPITAL REGION — Republican Assemblyman George Amedore has taken the first step toward running for a proposed new state Senate seat by establishing a fundraising arm for an election campaign.
The Rotterdam home builder said he will continue to explore a run for the Senate while awaiting the state Legislature’s final redistricting maps. The state’s Legislative Task Force on Demographic Research and Reapportionment released a draft that included a new district that many consider tailor-made for Amedore.
“It’s part of the exploratory process,” he said Thursday, less than a day after forming the committee. “We’ll see what happens with the whole redistricting.”
Amedore didn’t rule out a run for the Senate even if the new maps with 63 districts isn’t ratified. He acknowledged he’d consider running for a vacant seat, but said waging a primary against a fellow Republican is out of the question.
“I’m not considering a primary against an existing incumbent senator,” he said.
The George Amedore for Senate committee appeared Thursday and allows his boosters to begin raising money for a potential campaign. Amedore continues to maintain a separate committee for an Assembly run that contained $51,194, according to a disclosure filed in January..........................>>>>..................>>>>...................http://www.dailygazette.com/news/2012/feb/10/0210_amedore/

oh BOY!!! here we go.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
