I don't think I've heard a more illogical argument yet. Arguing the case for government FORCING religious organizations to provide contraception, and framing the argument as if the Catholic Church was PROHIBITING the use of contraception. It is government that is FORCING itself into the WOMAN'S UTERUS not the other way around, it is the government that is regulating contraception. The Catholic Church doesn't have the power to regulate and prohibit, but the government does. I are the liberals that are ASKING, NO, NO, DEMANDING that the federal governement regulate their uterus' and reproduction.
OK Cic. What woman is FORCED To Use Contraceptives??? What woman is being FORCED To Have An Abortion??? None that I know of.
Please list the names of these women because it's illegal and I would help them fight for their rights NOT TO BE FORCED TO USE CONTRACEPTIVES OR FORCED TO HAVE AN ABORTION!

No, you missed the mark again...The Catholic Church is FORCED to facilitate in a woman's contraception. The government if FORCING the Church to get involved in a women's birth control. The church was actually UNINVOLVED in a woman's choice of whether to use birth control. If women wanted CHOICE, then why do they want the government to force religious institutions to pay for their reproductive CHOICE?
The liberals used to say "stay out of my bedroom", now it is "stay out of my bedroom - but - pay for my birth control".

As a smaller govt guy, and all FOR states rights... 28 states have already passed legislation that includes contraceptives WITH NO EXEMPTIONS for a religious employer... Since it IS the state's right to pass this kind of legislation (as per Ronny Paul) then can I assume your only problem is that it's the Federal Govt that is passing this law???
So far I've not read even one complaint about States passing legislation that requires Contraceptive coverage WITH NO EXEMPTIONS, and only President Barack Hussein Obama is allowing Religious Exemptions.

Talk about Government invading a woman's uterus... Check this out:
Republican legislators believe they are better positioned and more qualified to prescribe treatments and procedures for pregnant women than those women’s physicians.
In Alabama….the existing bill mandates that the screen must face the pregnant woman and requires use of the scanning method that provides the clearest image — which would mean vaginal ultrasounds in most cases…. The bill would contain some of the country’s strongest pre-abortion mandates…. it would require the ultrasound screen to face the woman while the doctor narrates the images …… Doctors who do not follow the prescribed routines could face felony charges and could be sued by the potential father and grandparents.
So we not only have the state telling physicians what method to use, we have legislators specifying the position of the screen during examination, and dictating the very sentences a physician must use. Amazingly, the bill is known as the “Right To Know and See Act.”

Saparation of Church and State, except for when the state wants to force the church into my bedroom.
Again I ask for an example... What has the state forced YOU TO DO in your bedroom???

One more time...
The government FORCED the Catholic Church to provide a birth control product.
Here's how it works box.
The government goes to the church on behalf of women(since that's how they framed the argument) and says - 'YOU MUST offer a product that prevent women from becoming pregnant while having sex. YOU HAVE NO CHOICE!'
The church says - 'I don't believe in birth control, if women want to use birth control to prevent pregnancy, they can buy it themselves or work for a company that offers that health insurance benefit. I CHOOSE not to facilitate something I do not believe in.'
The government says to the church - 'NO! You MUST get involved in a woman's sex life and provide her with contraception through YOUR insurance plan. It is a woman's right to have sex using birth control, but it is NOT YOUR RIGHT to not pay for her right.'
The Obama argument is SO flawed, I can't even believe box is arguing that one person's "rights" supersede another person’s rights. Let's remember, the Catholic Church wasn't prohibiting, they just weren't facilitating.

Cicero keeps making these wild claims, and when I ask for an example... (It's his bedroom he posted about, so he must know what goes on in his bedroom...) He responds with the above Rant.
I'll try again. Cicero's Post: Quoted from CICERO Saparation of Church and State, except for when the state wants to force the church into my bedroom. Again, MY Question: What has the state forced YOU TO DO in your bedroom???

Well Box, your question is completely separate from what I said. I said the State FORCED the CHURCH into the bedroom. The separation of church and state is left wing gospel, EXCEPT when the STATE forces the CHURCH to offer(and ultimately pay for) birth control.
Every time a woman has sex using Catholic Church provided birth control, the church is in the bedroom(dragged in by the government). The argument has been based on the premise that women can't afford birth control, so without the Catholic Church offering it, and through lack of alternatives, these women are FORCED to use Catholic Church provided birth control.
The Catholic Church is being dragged into the bedroom and are being made responsible for a woman's birth control. When liberals say "it's my body ", that's until they want to make someone else financially responsible for it.
Liberal women that believe this sh*t don't even realize they are actually giving up their reproductive rights to third party payers. Wait until they insurance companies tell women what they will and will not pay for and what products they can and can't use...Then you will REALLY here screeching. When somebody else's is paying, they will have the final say...ALWAYS!

Yea That's what I thought.

Certain sectors of the church were in dissent after Pope Paul VI released “Humane Vitae.” In spite of dissent and widespread use of contraception among Catholics, the church continually reiterates its opposition to contraception. Contraceptive philosophy views pregnancy as something to be avoided at all costs: The child in the womb is a contraception failure; remedy the accident by abortion. In his 1968 encyclical, Pope Paul VI prophesied dire effects if contraceptives proliferated. He predicted contraception would lead to conjugal infi delity, general lowering of morality, men coming to regard a woman as mere instruments of sexual enjoyment — no more their respected and beloved companions — and abuses by public authorities promoting contraception for their own ends. Marriage and society would suffer if contraception became widespread. All these predictions have come true. As birth control proliferated America, divorce rates tripled. The pill has harmful side effects on a woman’s body. A 2001 study at New York Bronx Lebanon Hospital found oral contraceptives’ lower levels of essential vitamins and minerals, contributing to many chronic diseases. I do not want to pay for contraception. We are forced to pay higher premiums because our insurance companies are forced to provide free contraception. The artificial family planning methods make it obvious that they do not promote the health and welfare of the family. By now we should have learned the hard way: To go against the law of nature and God is to inflict terrible damage on ourselves as individuals and our society.
Cardinal Dolan Urges 'Freedom Of Religion Battle' 03/ 3/12 07:53 PM ET
HICKSVILLE, N.Y. -- Cardinal Timothy Dolan called on Roman Catholic worshippers Saturday to become more involved in politics as the church stands against the government in what he called a "freedom of religion battle," as he spoke about the recent controversy involving contraceptive coverage.
Speaking at Holy Trinity Diocesan High School in Hicksville, the spiritual leader of the Archdiocese of New York said the U.S. government is engaged in "an unwarranted, unprecedented radical intrusion." He told the crowd they "live in an era that seems to discover new rights every day."
"We're not trying to impose our teachings on anybody," said Dolan in his 45-minute speech to a packed auditorium of about 1,000 people. "We're simply saying, don't impose your teaching upon us and make us do as a church what we find unconscionable to do."
Some religious organizations protested when President Barack Obama moved to mandate that religious-affiliated institutions such as hospitals and universities include free birth control coverage in their employee health plans.....................>>>>.....................>>>>....................http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/03/03/nys-cardinal-urges-freedo_n_1318984.html

Sounds good but it's not true!
You could lower premiums by a great deal if you excluded coverage for prenatal care, delivery of the baby and at least 18 years of the child's medical care. But by excluding Contraceptive coverage, you increase costs and eventually increase insurance premiums. Contraceptive coverage is cheap... Having babies is very expensive!

I wish to thank President Obama for his ruling on health care for women, specifi - cally the requirement that health insurance providers provide free coverage for birth control. I was thrilled to see that family planning is part of the new health care law. It is refreshing to see common sense and good public health combine to improve the health of women by avoiding unwanted pregnancies. The compromise with religious groups was a skillful addition. Health insurance companies are happy to provide free birth control, since it saves them money. The naysayers are those who, in the name of religious freedom, want to get the government to impose their religious views on women. That is not religious freedom. No woman is forced to use birth control under the new health care law. The inclusion of family planning in the new health care law proves that Obama cares!
