Plank LLC vs the City?  Isnt that Highbridge Construction?
yes

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

You know what needs  to happen.  We all need to get down to the City Council Meetings and get some change demanded.  We need about 50 to 100 Harry Brands at each meeting.  Make them run until 11pm.  .....and instead of Occupying we should Organize and get the facts out.  The only thing stopping most of us is fear of the City flexing their muscle and asserting their power upon us.

We could hold real informational meetings somewhere on the same night.  Inform the public.  Bring the facts.  Any way to upload pdf, word and excel files here?

What ever happened to the Pension Padding.....anyone get in trouble?
What ever happened to the Commisioner of Deeds fiasco.....anyone get in trouble?
What ever happened to the Foster Avenue Title issue?
How much money have we paid in claims for shoddy city employee work?
Anyone turn the city and the employees into the Feds for Tax Evasion for failure to report employee use of the company vehicles?
Was anyone caught for the Proctors robberies either time?  All those cameras around.....
Did we find out if Proctors pocketed the $650,000 from Transfinder after getting the property for $1 and using $500,000 in grants to rehab before ripping it down?
There is no accountability from any of the city officials and no follow through.
.

1.     So, some elderly person might live in an apartment owned by Popolizio, and the elderly person doesn't know that he's behind in his taxes.  And YOU endorse turning off the water to some frail elderly person?

2.   And tell us, when the tenants put the trash at the curb and it doesn't get picked up, tell us what YOUR solution is?????    Huh?    You prefer to see piles of trash bags sitting at the curb in extreme heat, getting smelly, perhaps rats getting into it, etc.?????

Initially when I read that, I thought it was a good idea.  But then I thought of the ramifications.   When the tenants keep putting trash out and it piles up, then the city MUST, to prevent dangers to the neighbors, pick up the trash, so it wouldn't be workable.

Now, another thought is the city notiifes the tenants, oh, perhaps two or three months ahead of time, and then they would know that they probably need to move.  However, if they have a lease, they could then be held responsible for breaking the lease.  Highly doubtful that any lease presented by an tax delinquent landlord would ever have a clause saying that tenants would be off the hook for the rent if the landlord was delinquent in taxes.   I'm going to guess that various state laws that impact tenant/landlord issues don't address that possibility.

And tell us, what is it called when your hero Stratton sold tax-seized properties to a guy (Andrew Wisoff) who was tax delinquent to the tune of $56,000????    Tell us about that one?

Well???????    What have you got to say about that?

all those delinquent properties could be turned into elder/poor homes for the virtual medicaid houses....that's what the county has raised it's hand and volunteered to do for the downstate gumbas.......

Actually.....I'm sure it is illegal to turn water or heat off in any home for any reason.

There are laws on the books on what to do with tax evaders. And one of them isn't shutting water off! Or stopping garbage pick up....OMG!! If only the city leaders would read them and learn how to use them.

How does a city explain how they continually sell property to tax evaders and code violators? It is the city leaders that have the law on their side on how to deal with these issues. And it is the city leaders that keep this cycle of abuse going!

Honestly....this is about the dumbest thing I've heard coming out of city hall. And there are tons of dumb things that come out of there.

Our City Administration is so arrogant that it would never do any research on what other American Cities have done to deal with the problems that Schenectady is dealing with.  They would rather ponder these self proclaimed revolutionary solutions than even reach out to the past mayors of cities that have faced a severe decline.

To fix the problems in Schenectady the whole area must be made more appealing , people will not move to an area that looks like a slum. Infrastructure must be improved, taxes must be lowered, the school system must be greatly improved and the crime must be controlled.

There are people that work for a living, and there are people that vote for a living.  Schenectady is filled with people that rely on their vote for their living; whether it is the non profits, the corporate cronies, municipal worker, or the social welfare recipient.  As long as 51% of Schenectady depends on government largess, Schenectady is screwed.

And tell us, what is it called when your hero Stratton sold tax-seized properties to a guy (Andrew Wisoff) who was tax delinquent to the tune of $56,000????    Tell us about that one?

Well???????    What have you got to say about that?

Well Hamburg??????   You are speechless?   Where is your answer to this??????    Huh??????    Explain why YOUR FAVORITE MAYOR Stratton sold tax-seized properties to that Wisoff guy who was ALREADY BIG TIME ---- BIG BIG BIG BIG TIME ---- DELINQUENT IN TAXES AND HAD DECLARED BANKRUPTCY !!!!!!!!

Well Hamburg???????    You have no answer to that??????  What's the matter ---- cat got your tongue?    You can't, you won't answer because you see how the dems allow the delinquents to continue being delinquent.

And, Hamburg, tell us about how your buddies - Stratton, Gillen and the Savage woman, ROBBED the taxpaying homeowners in the city when they gave a whopping QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS OF TAXPAYERS MONEY to another pair of tax delinquents for that Foster Hotel building AND then ROBBED from the homeowners again by taking another $30,000 of the homeonwers money to pay off the taxes that this pair owed on that building!!!!!!!!!

Tell us Hamburg, did your dem buddies withhold the amount that this pair was delinquent in taxes????    Huh??????    Huh?????    if you claim he did, THEN PROVE IT!

Tell us Hamburg, what has your buddy McCarthy done about repaying the taxpaying homeonwers in the city that he and your buddy Stratton stole from the homeonwers to foot the bill for the demo of Popolizio's building on McClellen and Eastern.

And I'll tell you, I'm confident that this "announcement" by McCarthy was nothing more than something to try to make himself look good.   What kind of legal staff does he have who would allow him to make such an announcement when there are probably laws against it.    And tell us, WHY has McCarthy REFUSED to say what he would do for the tenants in the properties????   Will McCarthy then be stealing again from homeonwers to pay for the tenants to get new places to live???

Come on Hamburg, answer some questions for once

Hey you FEW "BIG" cheerleaders for the city, cheering for your dem buddies ignoring the tax delinquents.

Yeah, how about that Popolizio.   Big tax delinquent.   Tell us DV aka Hamburg, TELL US WHAT YOUR DEMS have done about him???????    Huh?????   Tell us?????    Have they taken his properties away??????

And TELL US what your dems are doing OVER A YEAR after the YOUR DEMS robbed the taxpayers to demolish Popolizio's building at McClellan & Eastern.   Well?????   What are the dems doing??????    Remember, he didn't have insurance on it!!!!    So tell us.

Tell us what your buddy dem Stratton was doing when he "gave away" a few tax delinquent properties to a tax delinquent property owner who had declared bankruptcy BEFORE Stratton sold him MORE properties for just one dollar each.

And tell us what YOUR dems did with the tax delinquent Foster Hotel, your buddy dems robbed the financially struggling homeonwers of their money and REWARDED a pair of tax delinquents to the tune of a WHOPPING QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS and then the dems didn't stop there.   They ALSO made erased the tax delinquency on that building, valued at about $30,000.   Doid YOUR DEMS withhold from that $250,000 the amount that the pair owed the city?????    HECK NO!

Msybe we are in luck.   Poplizio could be convicted of animal cruelty, he is charged with 49 counts and if the newspaper reporter got it correct, Pop faces one year in jail FOR EACH COUNT.   Can you believe it may take his treatment of animals to put him away because YOUR DEMS REFUSED to put him away for his treatment of humans in the city (his code violations, his abuse of the taxpayers, etc)
