It was a pretty good ad --and fortunately it played early enough not to interfere with my viewing of Downton Abbey.    Next year --- hopefully --- the NFL will field at least 1 decent team in the Super Bowl .. to make it worth actually watching the game.

Perhaps you should seek out some testosterone treatment from your Doctor ... that's about the gayest thing you've ever said.

The Nattering Nayboobs of Negativity continue to show how hateful and assinine they are through their constant bullying and HATE speech towards another poster -- whom although I disagree with -- has some very valid points.

I believe that the ad was very well made --- and yes ... without electricity, we would not have a lot of our modern conveniences.   Although, we would still have great beer ... because the best beer in the world is made the old fashioned way.    I would recommend that folks travel down to Ommegang Brewery to taste some REAL beer.

I saw it!    i just saw it!

I just love to prove it.

DV was signed on and he posted.   Then he was signed off and the hamburg name appeared, posted a message here, then his name vanished and DV's name reappeared.

DV aka hamburg thinks we don't.   So recently he starts having contradictory discussions wtih himself.

I love it.   Caught in the act

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

The topic of this thread is GE's Super Bowl ad --- the nayboobs can't carry on a civil discussion so they have to make up lies and resort to personal attacks.  I am sticking to this topic on this thread .. and will stick to the topics on the threads that I choose to respond to.   If they wish to continue their lies and nasty negative attacks -- that is their choice but it does NOT intimidate me in the least.

OK.  I generally support the GE Superbowl commercial...
but...
For anyone who's ever worked in machining, take a close look at the dial calipers being used in the video... They are held
backwards.

They appear to be measuring an outside diameter with the inside diameter part of the calipers.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

dont ya just hate when that happens.....like watching medical shows when they use the wrong drugs for the wrong disease etc......it's funny....but entertaining....

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
