An insiders look into the 2008 Presidential Campaign.

I watched "Game Change" last night on HBO.  A well made movie even if you're not political.
From the view of the movie... Palin is even dumber than I assumed she was.

There is no left leaning slant to HBO.

True story.

Her political career has BEEN dead for quite a while.
Now, we're just having fun poking it with a stick.

Yet bunches of imbeciles still send her money, thinking she somehow represents their best interests.

Has anybody else noticed something about the pictures taken of her in the last couple of weeks?

Richard Cohen notes that since Sarah Palin stepped on the national political stage we've been subjected to
"a deluge of dysfunctional presidential candidates. They do not lie with quite the conviction of Palin, but
they are sometimes her match in ignorance. As with Palin, it seemed hardly to matter... Palin is no longer an anomaly."

"So far, the Palin effect has been limited to the GOP. Surely, though, there lurks in the Democratic Party
potential candidates who have seen Palin and taken note. Experience, knowledge, accomplishment -- these
no longer may matter. They will come roaring out of the left proclaiming a hatred of all things Washington,
including compromise. The movie had it right. Sarah Palin changed the game."

Her problems began when she was told to leave Trig at home.

I think it's funny as hell that this movie comes out and Obama's Campaign (Not the super-pac) releases an ad about her.

Can someone tell Axelrod that she doesn't hold any office and she's not running for one.

You should watch the video Buck.  It might change your mind.

I knew much of the video from the book by McCain advisers... If anything, Palin comes across as a
'not very bright' but very charismatic figure.
In the end, I felt sorry for Palin.  When she got the call from McCain to be his VP, she had just had a baby,
was in trouble in Alaska for troopergate... had  a pregnant teenage daughter... a son in the military in Iraq...
at the same time raising a brood of 5 kids.
She was in way over her head as governor, but on the way to a nervous breakdown as a VP candidate.

I felt sorry for her.  She was lost, didn't want to hurt John McCain's chance at the election and totally
unqualified and unprepared for the VP job.

Correction -- the Republicans have been fielding a "deluge of dysfunctional candidates" for at least a half century --- Sarah Palin was just so bad they couldn't keep her shortcomings hidden long enough to steal the election in 2008.
