Why have LOW crime at all....that's what goes unreported.....gangs looking for trouble...looking to rob and assault...

and I know of a few instances where crimes were committed and  still unsolved......and one unreported because of retaliation..

those are the crimes that GO unreported.....and are not in the statistics.

Statistics are numbers...only numbers....and anyone can "fix" them to their needs...

Ok don't believe official reports - then all the above stats are not valid either based on that logic.

and again- we should base our opinions on your assertions of what people tell you because foficial records cannot be trusted but you can.

and I don't recall anyone asserting Downtown is utopia - sounds like a quote from the strawman

Ok, look what the moron has now posted on the TU crime blog. This was brought to my attention by one of our paid scouts who monitor, track and record everything every prominent democrap in the county does and says in case they ever want to run for office again.

http://blog.timesunion.com/crime/two-held-in-fatal-stabbing-of-woman/10899/#comments

read the comments and we will see our resident troll has taken up a new post at the TU. Manye we all need to start posting videos of him there.

If they called the cops everytime they kicked some loudmouth out of that facility (or the 2 others within a block) the Schenectady cops would just set up shop at Smith and Clinton.
I work near that corner and have more than once left my office with a window out of fear that gunplay might soon follow.

This is just a continuation of the downward spiral of Schenectady and US society in general. Look at the photos of the perps. Have any of you liberals from CP or Delmar ever met a crack head? Well this is what you see on the streets of Schenectady and Albany every day. THe left calls them the “poor” and blames racism, capitalism etc. for their plight. The crack heads(usually from outside of the Capital District) gravitate to this area because of sympathetic law enforcement (DA Soares) and the glorification of the “poverty ” industry by the media, especially the TU and Gazette.

Both of these fine citizens have multiple felony areests pleaded down to violations and misdeameanors. He stabbed someone in 2009 and she stabbed him 3 times in 09 with a screwdriver. If they were put away then for an extended period of time and given help for their addictions this may not have happened. We have to start putting these violent criminals away for longer than a day or 2, and start giving them multiple years, I don’t care what Ann Pope says, some of these people are just not meant to be in society, their society is in a jail or prison cell.

Since I can see the crime scene from my office and have seen both the victim and the attacker in the area almost daily for several years, this hits home. Had I gotten to work on my former schedule I’d have been walking by that lot at about the time she was stabbed.

I have spoken to people who were in the office and a co-worker who sometimes volunteers at the Salvation Army at breakfast. This couple has long been a problem. They both have past assaults and have fought violently on the street many times. They have also been verbally abusive and physically violent toward others. The victim in this case was many times the “bully” in others.

I hate to say it but when I found out the circumstances, I was somewhat relieved. I was concerned that the victim might have been a B of A or “The Eddy” employee who was stabbed to death in a robbery while walking from her car. I’m asked about once or twice a week or money or cigarettes. That I can deal with but many times when I get to work, I sit in my car because I’d noticed one or two people watching me drive in and just waiting, pacing, glancing at my car. I sit and wait until someone else arrives. My assigned parking space is about 40 feet from the scene of the stabbing.

Testimony is key in plea deal
Woman who supplied knife testifies against boyfriend in murder case

By Paul Nelson

SCHENECTADY — A woman who admitted possessing a hunting knife that her boyfriend allegedly used in a fatal stabbing has agreed to testify against him as part of a plea deal.

Under the negotiated plea, Sonya Hall, 44, pleaded guilty Monday to one count of felony criminal possession of a weapon in exchange for a 1½- to 4½-year prison sentence. She is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 9.

During Monday's proceeding, Schenectady County Judge Karen Drago granted a request by Chief Assistant District Attorney Philip Mueller to seal the cooperation component of the plea bargain, citing the "integrity of the ongoing investigation and for the safety of all involved."

Mueller said Hall on Friday gave a sworn statement to the DA's office about the killing. He said she did not have any physical contact with the victim, Tammi Washington, 43, and was not the assailant.

Both Hall and her boyfriend, Perry Miller, 33,were detained following the Jan. 30 fatal stabbing. Miller has remained in jail without bail on a charge of second-degree murder....................>>>>...................>>>>..................Read more: http://www.timesunion.com/local/article/Testimony-is-key-in-plea-deal-3540592.php#ixzz1uGtbWVFp

what a joke you are to pretend things are that great, the GOP neighboobs don't have anyone as irrational and hell bent on lieing to save their party.  I personally don't know how you sleep at night lieing to the good people you are suposed to be serving.  It's disgusting.

Visitor gets together and briefs Ronnie on what to post. This drivel comes right out of the county building for certain.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Graham Bonnet and Taking it Back

I have no idea who Ronnie is.  And, frankly don't care. I don't get involved in your childish back and forth and personal attacks.

You cannot argue the point so you try to take the discussion in another direction.
