They had great pizza but there are too many pizza places in town and lots of families - like my own - only eat pizza 2 or maybe 3 times a year.

I think you had a typo, you wrote year when you meant to write hour.

Nope -  my family and I don't purchase a pizzeria-made pizza more than 2 or 3 times a year.  We never purchase the frozen kind from supermarkets.

You and your ilk can make your ignorant comments but it doesn't change the actual truths.  So  KMA.

I used to come to this site for a little background info on the town that I am a homeowner in, but quite honestly this kind of BS makes me feel like I'm wasting my time. For the last 5 months or so this is the stuff I've been reading and it makes me feel like I'm back in high school.

If you have this much time and that much of a problem that you have taken to internet insults, why don't you just freaking run for town office? Any town office. I am a republican and quite frankly we both probably share political idealogies, but f**king making fun of people on the internet? You need to grow up. Do something about this problem instead of sitting back and making fun of people...actually, don't... there are enough dumb people in office and we don't need another Rhodes scholar like yourself.

there's a block user function that's quite handy for this type of situation.......................if you need help with it let me know I'll be happy to show you how it works...................that way you don't have to be bothered by the stuff some of us post............................if this has been annoying you for 5 months, and you already know what's coming, yet you still choose to read it, then my assumption is that deep down inside you must really enjoy it .....................oh, and copping an attitude tends to make me turn up the volume a notch or two..............oh and just so ya know I too arrived at the site looking for knowledge and got spit on, my Irish/German heritage wouldn't allow that to go unanswered....................and as I've stated many times before I'm relentless.............

The actual topic of the thread is a well-known Rotterdam business that apparently has gone out of business.  No one who posts here actually knows what the circumstances were that led to that decision.   It could have been that the market was over saturated, it could be the overall economy or it could have just been for personal reasons.

Personally, I enjoyed both the product and the customer service.  Years ago, we were frequent patrons of the establishment when it was on Altamont Ave.  Times change and so do purchasing habits -- when we would have 2 dozen family members visiting on a Sunday afternoon, it made sense to order a few pizzas and feed the gang.   Now, the 2 or 3 times a year that we actually buy a pizzeria made pizza - we order one medium pizza and even then usually end up with a few pizzas leftover for the next day.

I wish the owners of Pizzarama well, thank them for their years of great service and hope that maybe someday they will reopen again.

I'd have to believe that it is both the economy and the 'obvious' saturation of pizza joints! The place across from them are feeling the pinch too.....ALL businesses are! Well....unless you have use of the taxpayer's money via the METROPLEX/GILLEN!

Could be -- but the last time they closed (on Altamont Ave) had more to do with personal/health issues.
