January 5, 2012: Republican presidential candidate, former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman shakes the hand of an employee after a town hall style meeting at Goss International in Durham, N.H.
Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman will withdraw his bid for the Republican presidential nomination, Fox News confirmed Sunday.
Huntsman is set to announce his withdrawal from the race Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in South Carolina, at which time he will endorse GOP candidate Mitt Romney.

Huntsman should have done better -- he has experience, good ideas, was articulate  and reasonable -- he was in every way "presidential material".    But then again -- the extremist nayboobs in the GOP do not care much for people with experience, good ideas, who are articulate and who are reasonable --- which probably explains why he didn't catch on in the GOP Primaries.

I agree.  Traditional Republicans would have found Huntsman to be a viable candidate.  The TeaBagger Republicans
see him as "almost a socialist".

A Huntsman/Christie ticket would have given Obama a real challenge.

You had no problem voicing you opinion about the whole GOP, you must hold the same opinion of the DNC.  Especially based on the experience factor.  Obummer had virtually ZERO experience.  And it shows.
