GLENVILLE — Town residents have passed a referendum that eliminates the position of receiver of taxes. The vote tally was 210 to 75.
I guess this wasn't a very heated debate. I say that due to the fact that there could have been up to 20 THOUSAND people voting on this, and 285 come out to share their opinion? Well, the decision is made. Just wish it was more of a sample of those who could voice their opinion. There definitely wasn't a line in Glenville like there was for the REMS vote back in December.

That is because Glenville has a history of making good decisions and having a plan and vision for it's town. Sure they have made a few mistakes on the way..............but generally....they do a great job! We have many many many friends who live in glenville and they are well informed and are quite satisfied to say the least!
