Quite honestly -- popcorn should be banned from Proctor's since the item is so ....  well .. beneath the dignity of a theater arts patron to consume.  For what is pop corn but some ill thought out attempt to cook grain that is better fed to the barnyard animals.

Finger sandwiches, shrimp cocktail and other sophisticated fare is appropriately eaten at the  pre-theater party --- or during an intermission repast --  one certainly does not bring food or drink into the area in which they will sit ... that is soooooo gauche.

It's a wonder that people like you even allow the common people to even attend the theater with you let alone eat popcorn there.

True. There is nothing like the pageantry and spectacle of live a performance.
Live. you can see the audience light all their lighters, yelling "we love you!", and shouting out requests.

Even IF your view is obstructed by that bimbo sitting on her boy friend's shoulders.

stop the presses.... big news here.. no popcorn for u.

meanwhile, glenville falls further into the toilet with loss of friendly's,,, maybe the town can tax the empty building as part of its economic revit plan ....

Funny you say this, considering Glenville had a K-Mart close last year that is already torn down and in the process of being rebuilt, while Rotterdam's former store stands as a testimony of how quickly things happen in this town.  Gee, it's only been, what, 25 years since the Curry Rd Shopping Plaza K-Mart closed it's doors?  Rotterdam - Success.  Glenville - Failure.  Yeah...OK.

The funniest thing is that it is reported that the pop corn is now no longer available because it is 'too noisey'. That is just too funny!!!

I guess that if folks start complaining about the high ticket prices, they will be lowered too...yes?

I guess that if the folks start complaining about the drug dealers and panhandlers and cars broken into while patronizing proctors, those issues will be resolved too....yes?

I believe they don't use "food stamps" anymore -- they use something called an EBT card.  You would have to contact the agency that oversees them to ask if you can use your benefits to purchase food at Proctor's.

Philip Morris uses his EBT card to keep Proctors open.

Phillip Morris is a man of great dignity and class.  He runs an internationally renown theater and does a great job doing it.

If you mean by running, you mean sucking up to the democrat controlled county legislature for millions in tax dollars and tax exemptions for an otherwise failed theater, then I would have to agree with you.

You obviously are clueless and living in a miserable world of bile and hatred.   There is no reason to further respond to your inane posts.
