Perhaps this is the first time you will see Mr. Neil Golub and his hand - picked minion Roger Hull BOTH bend over and begin to kiss their as*es GOOD BYE!        I hope the Federal Government seeks to close Price Chopper Supermarkets for their blatant right - wing slant and union busting activities......Once the President is handily re -elected I expect nothing less.

Speaking of Union Busting, anybody notice the beautiful new election signs for the head of the local union showing up at 2 circles... er... 5 corners and other locations around town?

Some CSEA election or something

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Yeah, there's some signs for the vote for president of the local union, don't remember which one.  They also have one thrown at the corner of Mariaville and Old Mariaville east of the railroad bridge.

Trader Joe's Signs Fair Food Agreement On Tomatoes With Immokalee Workers
First Posted: 02/10/2012 4:56 pm Updated: 02/11/2012 9:51 am

Trader Joe's relented this week and signed a Fair Food Agreement with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW), a community-based organization of mainly Latino, Mayan Indian and Haitian immigrants employed in low-wage jobs in Florida. The agreement requires the grocery store to pay a penny more per pound of tomatoes and to ensure better working conditions for tomato workers.

In the past year, protesters have become a common sight at Trader Joe's locations across the country in response to the chain's refusal to sign the agreement. Chains like Taco Bell, McDonald's, Burger King and Whole Foods all signed the agreement years ago.

"This is nearly a 50 percent raise for the workers," Barry Estabrook, the writer behind PoliticsOfThePlate.com and author of the book "Tomatoland" (about large-scale tomato agriculture), told The Huffington Post. "These are desperately poor people."

"We are truly happy today to welcome Trader Joe's aboard the Fair Food Program," said Gerardo Reyes of the CIW, in a jont press release issued by the coalition and Trader Joe's. "Trader Joe's is cherished by its customers for a number of reasons, but high on that list is the company's commitment to ethical purchasing practices. With this agreement, Trader Joe's reaffirms that commitment and sends a strong -- and timely -- message of support to the Florida growers who are choosing to do the right thing, investing in improved labor standards, despite the challenges of a difficult marketplace and tough economic times."..................>>>>....................>>>>.....................http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/10/trader-joes-fair-food-agreement_n_1268417.html
