The above is obviously a troll and only has one issue to schill for. Please ignore him/her.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Once again Rachel, what you believe about these terms is irrelevant.  The course isn't being taught to adults, it's being taught to our teens.  Teens pick up information about sex from various sources... some of it accurate, some of it totally false... PP is there with ACCURATE

These terms are irrelevant in defining abstinence. They were both originally used in defining alternate methods of contraception for the straight community.

Again, one definition for abstinence to fully encompass the gay, bisexual and straight communities. No sexual contact.

Then move on.

I don't know why that's happening. I hit post once and sometimes there are multiple posts. When I see them I delete them but, I miss some.

Any idea why they would post 2 or 3 times?

TIA

Again, PP teaches the state designed sex ed curriculum with a Shen instructor in the classroom. Is it really that hard to absorb what you read?

Is the Planned Parenthood instructor accessible to parents prior to the class?  Is the instructor available for questioning during parent/teacher conferences?  Or, does the PP instructor have access to the children based on the authorization of the Health Teacher?

Again...The Shen taxpayer doesn't pay the PP instructor to teach the state ed curriculum.  The Shen taxpayer pays the health teacher to teach the state curriculum.

This would be a question for the school. Call them and let us know.

"access to the children"???

And again, the PP instructor isn't paid anything!

Quoted Text
The Shen taxpayer pays the health teacher to teach the state curriculum.

And they do. The school also often invites qualified experts to help teach sex ed and other classes.

That tin hat is getting a bit tight, isn't it?

I know it is tough for many public school educators to understand parents questioning a teachers character and the people around their children.  How dare they!!

Yes, what I mean when I say "access to children" is, some parents ACTUALLY QUESTION the teachers that are responsible for their kids 7 hours a day, 5 days a week.  I know you think parents a generally not involved and should just drop their children off and leave everything up to the state educators.

I can understand the Shen parents concerns when you have teachers like Chris Culver and Don Paretta in your ranks.  So yes, I DEFINITELY want to know EVERY person given the authority to stand in front of a classroom and instruct my child.

What I find ironic is, you and many other public teachers like to blame uninvolved parents for the failure of public schools, and specifically in your case, you believe parents are not involved in sex education.  Yet, when a group of parent want to get involved in their child's education, they are treated with contempt for sticking their nose in where it doesn't belong.  Very interesting.

No tin foil hat here.  Just an involved parent unwilling to hand my child's mind over to the public education system.

They pay a teacher HIRED TO TEACH - NOT TO TEACH, while the PP "peer" teaches for them.

And this hurts anyone how???

The kids get accurate information from a source they can trust.  A plus for both the kids, the school and the
community.

Allowing Planned Parenthood into the public school classroom is nothing more than ADVERTISEMENT and PROMOTION of Planned Parenthood.  There is nothing the Planned Parenthood “peer” taught that could not have been taught by the NYS CERTIFIED health teacher.

You remind me of interviews I've seen of the Republicans in the primary race. They don't listen to the questions asked of them or absorb what has been said to them. They simply spew what they want to spew. Have you been watching a lot of Michelle Bachman lately? Duh!

You don't sound like someone who talks with teachers to me. If you did, you would know you can get a chat with any teacher just about within a day's notice. Re: speaking to the PP instructors.. I would think that would be harder. Now, don't get your tin hat out yet. They may not send the same instructors each time. But, again, you could call them if you were truly interested in talking with them. But, I don't think you are. You seem to just want to complain about all kinds of things with no expectation of actually learning anything. Are you and rachel72 related?

And this is a problemmmmmm why?

Do you also have objections when parents come in and read to the students while the teacher just sits idly by?

Oy vey!
