I agree that DVOR will appear to have a conflict of interest on some building projects that may come before him for our town in the future. It seems hard to have a clear mind with the preconceived notions that he has already typed on this forum plus as a public servant he should be listening to the town's voice and rules to make a decision not what is in his head. I think I'll reach out to the local politicians at the state level and TV stations that do those investigative stories in preperation of the next discussions for the 4 corners CVS project.
having an opinion is NOT the same thing as having a conflict of interest

DVOR everyone has an opnion and you are entitled to it one of the great things about this country. The concern is that you seem to have a stance that does not align with the people whom will be directly impacted by the development at 4 corners and now you are in a position of authority. Should not your stance on the building at 4 corners align with what the people desire whom will be directly impacted not with your opnion?
Just think, someone's life will be just about an open book. Ethics.
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Having an opinion is not the issue...being opinionated is! Your reasoning is predisposed to your personal opinion without room for others opinions. You DON'T LISTEN...you just say here is how it is and anyone that doesn't like it is wrong and a NNN or NAZI or UNAMERICAN or any number of other disgusting ways you have presented yourself. You should have thought about all that before you areed to the appointment, becuase eveerything is open to public disclsoure now. I agree with another poster....media loves to expose these kinds of things. HAVE A NICE DAY !!!!!

Right, because you have your opinions, but the fact is, you have no interest, as far as costs regarding how it will affect you whether a project goes through in the town or not, so you won't have a conflict on ANY project, only in whether you will be allowed to keep your position.

Bottom line is that they 'all' have a personal agenda and a personal opinion that will resonate into laws and resolutions that will ultimately effect every rotterdam taxpayer. Rotterdam is governed by those who will walk in lock step together with very little wiggle room for difference or equal representation.
Believe me......their agenda has already been blue printed and now only needs to be executed! Welcome to the city of schenectady rotterdamians!!

You may assume that you know my opinions on every issue or even certain particular issues -- but you don't. Deliberative bodies require that each member weigh ALL of the facts and information presented by ALL sides -- study it/analyze it, weigh it against all of the relevant laws, codes, ordinances, regulations and standards ---- and then make a decision. Individual personal opinions are not a factor -- doing DUE DILIGENCE is the most important factor.
Equally important is my belief that Every proposal that comes before any deliberative body deserves the right to be heard and for people to present facts/information and to make their cases for and against.

My hope is that you honestly believe and perform your duties according to what you have written. My concern, based on your very public and documented postings on this forum, is that you talk the talk but don't walk the walk. The Tax Paying Rotterdamians deserve unbiased, honest, fairly evaluated decisions that have taken into consideration all the concerns and feedback from those same taxpayers, personal feelings aside. Decisions may not align with your personal feelings, but that is not what you have been appointed to do. You have been appointed to represent the people's voice.....don't ever lose sight of that.
