In speaking at the city council meeting Joe Allan thanked God for his guidance during his term in office.  I wonder which God that is?  The one I am aware of asks us to love one another, to treat each other with kindness.  Not be vicious to anyone or any one identified segment of our society.

His God is a scary one. Thank goodness it is not the one watching over me.

He has the right to chose any God he wants.  He has a right to his opinions but I sure am happy I don't have the same God in my life that guides him.

Bye bye Garbage Can Joe.

Mr. Allen talks a good game and is probably a nice guy. But he has accomplished NOTHING in his 16 years in office. In his 16 years, taxes have skyrocketed and the city is in a decline. The welfare line has quadrupled and crime and drug dealers/addicts have become common place in the city. There are squatters and pit bull attacks. Stabbings. Shootings. Robberies. And the infrastructure is crumbling.

Thanks you Mr. Allen. I hope you enjoy spending the nys taxpayers money in Florida!

Councilman Allen has accomplished a lot -- considering that he was often the lone voice speaking out for the residents of Hamilton Hill and Mont Pleasant.   Among his accomplishments --- convincing Mayor Stratton to keep the Quackenbush Pool open.

Joe -- enjoy your retirement -- well done for you most certainly were a good and faithful public servant.
