No, slumlords renting to women with prior stabbing and harassment charges is the City's problem.

When you have a City where the taxes are three times the norm, landlords will rent to ANYONE. And in a City where section 8 and other housing welfare options are available...more available than JOBS..well, you're going to get people who would rather work the system than work for a paycheck.

There are lots of good property owners who need to rent to ANYONE in order to pay their property and school tax bills. There are those like Popolizio who keep their buildings like crap and DON'T pay their taxes.

Either way, the City has made itself a slum. It began with the inflated assessments and continues with triple taxes to the property owners.

Nothing is the City's fault. The highest taxes aren't, the pension padding isn't, the 800 abandoned homes aren't, the crime explosion isn't, the pit bulls aren't. It's all either Al or Frank Duci's fault. BTW, another stabbing on Elder St last night. That's not the City's fault either-lol. It might be that demented columnists fault.

Where are the leaders? oh wait,,,,they're too busy worrying about the union contracts for when it is election time again.....no true leaders in the midst of the neighborhoods.....oh wait again, there
goes Mr. Tonko tossing some crumbs around standing next to Mr. McCarthy in front of  a habitat for humanity, why? BECAUSE IT DOESN'T MATTER IF THEY CAN PAY THEIR TAXES OR EVEN HAVE
A JOB, THEY ARE ON PUBLIC ASSIST AND WE JUST GAVE THEM A HOME VIA A TOKEN HAMMER AND NAIL......

dehumanizing leaders are a VERY VERY VERY bad thing.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

It doesn't make any sense.  Why does she even have the possibility to get out?  Jail too full?

It's crazy they even gave her the choice of posting bail, a charge that serious you would expect the person to be a high risk of fleeing or a danger to the rest of the public

The renaissance continues. Elm St is part of the Vale ghetto. Of course the insane clown posse aka Metrograft revitalized it with a beautiful gate by MAS. Sure they were arguing where to redeem gift cards Downtown.

Yeah thats is funny put up a nice looking gate and all is well like the electronic signs that have vastly improved student performance at the schools.
Thank goodness for our wise wizards.
It is kinda prophetic really it is an outward expression ofthe currnet state of man.
Nice looking gate but nothing inside.
They cant handle real crime ,their minds have been reduced to procedural manuals.
There is not even a article 3 court around anymore.
It is all administrative private law and needs to be done away with.

We didnt come this far to get this far.
