Kim Jong Il Dead: North Korea Leader Dies At 69 RAFAEL WOBER First Posted: 12/18/11 10:05 PM ET Updated: 12/19/11 05:21 AM ET
North Korean television announced in a "special broadcast" that its leader, Kim Jong Il, is dead.
News of Kim's death was made public on Monday, with officials indicating that he actually died two days earlier while riding a train.
Reuters notes that the country had begun transferring power to his son, Kim Jong-un, who is believed to be in his late 20s.
The Korean Central News Agency, North Korea's state news agency, issued several statements on Monday. A release titled "Kim Jong Il Passes Away (Urgent)" said that he "passed away from great mental and physical strain" at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17. A separate article entitled "Medical Analysis of Kim Jong Il's demise" added that Kim suffered an "advanced acute myocardial infarction, complicated with a serious heart shock.".......................>>>>>.................>>>>>..................http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/12/18/kim-jong-il-dead-north-korea_n_1156945.html

Should be interesting to watch how this power struggle pans out. Will the youngest son hold onto power or will one of the generals stage a coup?
Alot of different senarios can be played out, save for two.
1) All out war
2) Freedom |

There is a very special place in hell reserved for truly evil people such as him. If there was anyplace on Earth that needs to be liberated, it would be North Korean people above all others. |

I am sure that Totalitarian Dictator lovers like Graham Bonnet, Mobile Terminal and Mike Christine are in a period of mourning because of Kim Jong Il's death. |

In what way? That we killed him? To what end result? I don't think you quite understand the magnitude on what goes on there....Let's put it this way. Stalin's gulag system was a country club to what is in place right now in NK. |

How do you know this? Our intellegence agencies didn't even know he was dead until two days later. Yet we still have the republican war mongers standing on the debate stage threatening to bomb Iran based on the same reliable intellegence agencies. We bomb American citizens with drones with no due process of law, for opposing U.S. foreign policy in the middle east. A lot of Americans are just as brainwashed as the N Korean population, it just makes us feel better thinking we are not conditioned to not question our leaders like the North Korean people are. |

How do you know this? Just becuase it wasn't anounced here until 2 day slater means nothing. NK didn't admit his death until 2 days later. No way the US or any other country could have announced it before NK made the announcement....it would have been a major error on our part. I have no doubt that we were aware of his death within hours of it happening. You are short changing what our intelligence community is really capable of and what they can or cannot publicly announce for whatever reason. |

I'm just assuming these reports are correct...You may be right, we may have been playing possum. But after Iraq's epic failure, you can only draw two conclusions: 1. Our intellegence was incorrect and we killed tens of thousands of Iraqi's and thousands of Americans for no good reason. 2. Our intellegence is very good, but they are willing to lie to the American People to gain public support for a war of greed. Pick one.

In Kim’s Death, an Extensive Intelligence Failure
WASHINGTON — Kim Jong-il, the enigmatic North Korean leader, died on a train at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in his country. Forty-eight hours later, officials in South Korea still did not know anything about it — to say nothing of Washington, where the State Department acknowledged “press reporting” of Mr. Kim’s death well after North Korean state media had already announced it.
For South Korean and American intelligence services to have failed to pick up any clues to this momentous development — panicked phone calls between government officials, say, or soldiers massing around Mr. Kim’s train — attests to the secretive nature of North Korea, a country not only at odds with most of the world but also sealed off from it in a way that defies spies or satellites.
Asian and American intelligence services have failed before to pick up significant developments in North Korea. Pyongyang built a sprawling plant to enrich uranium that went undetected for about a year and a half until North Korean officials showed it off in late 2010 to an American nuclear scientist. The North also helped build a complete nuclear reactor in Syria without tipping off Western intelligence.

As for Iraq, I'll take #1...we definately F'kd Up. The only "excuse" is that we weren't the only ones that thought there were WMD's (UN Inspectors said same and Sadam added to the myth with his actions). However, I wil repeat and I stand by this....Iraq had nothing to do with WMD...it was Bush's personal agenda and he used WMD, 9/11 and Al Quida as reasons, knowing full well that none of that was true. People forget his public statement with his usual stupid gring when he said "...he tried to kill my Daddy..." |

a special place in hell ? You and I are just as "evil " as He.
Just so ya know there aint no Hell and there aint no special reservations for extra bad people if so we would ALL be there. Church invented hell to pay for the temple. God is not sending anyone to Hell and He is not fretting over the state of the earth The thing that really get tyrants ticked off is the Fact that God is indestructable, has no need for self defense.
