I am NOT DVOR. I think his comments are off-based regarding The Peanut Principal in that they have delicious nuts -- but for really excellent confections made with Chocolate one must make the hop, skip or jump to Mother Myrick's or Krause's or the fantabulous Saratoga Sweets..  Other imposters may also be about -- however I am my own person unlike the venous hate - filled right - wingers who diddle with each other on this forum. I find Uncle Sam's a detestable and Nazi - run operation where the elderly are NOT welcomed..

Gravel Gertie backed into DVR's meat grinder and now we have hamburg. Uncle Sam's is the Christmas place to be. No one cares about the sock puppet posse. The best in local candies, chocolates plus the unusual gift for your sweetie. Have been there twice and will stop by again Saturday morning. Look forward to seeing many other readers there for last minute gift ideas. As usual the DEM fascist boycott has fallen flat on its face.

Be careful, they will add another tax or fee in Schenectady County for anything with sugar in it.

The Peanut Principle was actually voted the #1 Candy Store in the Capital District ----  I think at least 2 other places are better but the FACT is that if you are going to talk about the BEST of something ... you have to mention the one voted the best in a public opinion survey.

Oh please be real. They don't even own a tempering machine. Metroland readers are too high on ecstasy to understand the difference between a place that actually makes confections and a place that buys everything from vendors already made. That place is not comparable to the other five candy makers in the entire region that work with chocolate. Dope. It is like calling Boone's Farm wine.

The FACT is that the Peanut Principle was voted BEST OF THE CAPITAL DISTRICT --- -- so they can HONESTLY and FACTUALLY claim to be the BEST in the area

That other shop is not even on the radar. They don't even make candy, know -it-all. You might as well say that Cumberland Farms is the area's best restaurant. Dope.

So clearly there is no one favorite candy store in the Capital Area ---   and notice that Saratoga Sweets and Krause's were rated #2 and #3 in one of the surveys.

Bottomline --- People will shop where they want and support the businesses that they want .. and our family chose to STOP patronizing a certain business due to the rude insults of its owner.  And we have been able to purchase confections as good as and, in our opinion, BETTER THAN those offered by the loutish politician/businessman referred to previously.

I don't think that any businesses/people really cares about opinion or reviews as most would just like to throw you out on your butt due to your arrogant insulting attitude.

Word on the street is that Ronnie might want to be wearing clothing that he doesn't want ruined or maybe a plastic bag at the very least when he shows up a Town Hall on New Years Day.................seems there was a run on chocolate cream pies at Hannaford the other day and they're being stored at a certain geezer's home for a personal delivery in front of all his buddies on New Years Day..............he might want to be looking over his shoulder..........or so I've been told...........
