Thank You Barack Hussein Obama! Just looking back at the lead up to the Iraq war, consider these few quotes:
~ 'We Will, In Fact, Be Greeted As Liberators' - Cheney (From Meet the Press, March 16 2003)
~"I think they're in the last throes, if you will, of the insurgency." --Vice President Dick Cheney, on the Iraq insurgency, June 20, 2005
~ "F**k Saddam, we're taking him out." –President Bush to three U.S. Senators in March 2002, a full year before the Iraq invasion
~ "Ladies and gentlemen, these are not assertions. These are facts, corroborated by many sources, some of them sources of the intelligence services of other countries." –Secretary of State Colin Powell, testifying about Iraq's chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons capabilities before the United Nations Security Council, Feb. 5, 2003
~ "Freedom's untidy, and free people are free to make mistakes and commit crimes and do bad things." –Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on looting in Iraq after the U.S. invasion, adding "stuff happens," April 11, 2003
~ "Major combat operations in Iraq have ended. In the battle of Iraq, the United States and our allies have prevailed." –President Bush, standing under a "Mission Accomplished" banner on the USS Lincoln aircraft carrier, May 2, 2003
~"From a marketing point of view, you don't roll out new products in August." --White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card, on why the Bush administration waited until after Labor Day to try to sell the American people on war against Iraq, "New York Times" interview, Sept. 7, 2002
(To me this next quote shows the gross impenitence, the arrogance and lack of concern for US troops by the entire Bush Administration.)
~"It's hard to conceive that it would take more forces to provide stability in post-Saddam Iraq than it would take to conduct the war itself and to secure the surrender of Saddam’s security forces and his army. Hard to imagine." –Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz, testifying before the House Budget Committee prior to the Iraq war, Feb. 27, 2003

That's a funny picture of a guy taking credit for ending a war(except for the tens of thousands of military contractors that will still be there) he voted against as Senator, and after 3 years as President. But, Americans ARE stupid, this will look like a decisive action and leadership to the Obama bots. A few clever pictures, some photo ops, and some rhetoric, and walla - the American mind oozes with goo, and that shiver will go up Matthews leg again.
It doesn't mean much to Cicero... for him it's a non event.
For those US Servicemen who (under most Republican Administrations) would die in Iraq... it means EVERYTHING. God Bless Barack Hussein Obama!

Yeah...That's why the Servicemen support Ron Paul...Obama's rhetoric didn't equal his actions. THREE YEARS LATER. BTW, I never said this isn't an event - It's an obvious campaign event.
If I were in the US military, and I were a Republican, I'd vote for Paul also. The rest of the GOP crazies want to keep me in a war zone for the rest of my life.
With Ron Paul running as a Republican and Barack Obama running as the Democrat... US troops would be much safer in the world.
BTW, donations from enlisted men in '08 went overwhelmingly to Obama... the Officer corps donated to Mc Cain.

Yeah...That's when they believed his campaign rhetoric of "change" and "bringing the troops home". Three years later, after Obama apparently had a change of heart once in the White House, the troops learned not to believe his bullshit.
...On the Democratic side, Obama’s campaign received more than $16,000 in donations from members of the military.
After we conducted this rough check, Paul’s campaign spokesman, Gary Howard, said by email that their numbers showed that Paul garnered $34,480 from members of the military; other GOP candidates fielded $13,848 and Obama took in $19,849.

Cicero is confused again. If you remember Obama ended Combat troops in Iraq as promised... then... The troops today believe that Obama kept his promise... since today he ended US troops in Iraq. (Someone should tell Cicero, the war in Iraq is over... He wishes it'd continue but 'sigh' Obama ended it)

Someone needs to tell the families of the 300 dead soldiers that died in Iraq between 2009 and 2011 that they were not combat troops. I'm sure that will make things better. And maybe Obama can explain to the 1200+ dead soldiers in Afghanistan what the end objective is.
REMEMBER - OBAMA SAID WITHDRAW TROOP NOT END COMBAT OPERATION. BUT MORONS THAT ARE EASILY CONFUSED BY THE RHETORIC OF THIER MESSIAH CANNOT HELP BUT TO REGURGITATE THE REVISIONIST HISTORY.
If anyone really believes that we will be outta Iraq....I have a bridge to no where to sell ya.
Guess the 'believers' haven't been talking to our service folks!

Great Video splice! (Cicero loves creative editing)
PolitiFact looked into Obama promises and Rated his promise to withdraw combat troops from Iraq in 16months as PROMISE KEPT!
However, Cicero's video would be rated as mostly LIE! (Someone tell Cic his pants are on fire)

The families of the fallen soldiers don't care about political semantics or politifact. Americans died in 2011, but I guess those casualties are less important and not deaths on this campaigner and chiefs watch.

One more lame attempt to prove a point on the bodies of fallen US troops. Shame!

It is a shame. Especially politicizing the withdraw 3 years later by super imposing an image of Barack Obama on the aircraft carrier. Then diminishing the sacrifice of the soldiers that died by calling them "non combat" just to fit the political narrative. That is pretty sick.
Pretty disturbing to see a former serviceman use the mililtary as a backdrop to mock their political opponents. Shows you how low we've sunk as a country. Our military people are used as pawns for the political elitists. Shame!
Cic seems to have little knowledge of the military.
Every US embassy in the world has "combat troops" (Marines) guarding their doors... however their mission is NOT a "Combat Mission".
