Funny you should mention this. There are parents that we know that will NOT allow their kids to go to sccc because of the area. Especially if they would have night classes.  They mentioned something about sex offenders in that area too.

Right, if you go to bing.com and maps, birds eye view you will see that the property wasn't necessary for expansion purposes but rather was necessary for set back, foundation and/or parking for the project.  Seems like they weren't forthcoming with the reason for the purchase of the AAA building.  I would bet everything that this property is absorbed into the project.

I know it's not on topic, but I read stuff like this and I just shake my head in disgust....aside from all of them living together (basically) , raping a 3 and 14yo and set free???? Raping a 13, 16 and 17yo and walking free???? My God, what the hell is wrong with our system?

It's another lie. Gazetto keeps the illusion going. No jobs are being saved or created. Another property coming off the tax rolls. AAA on Union St. was never moving-they already left the Downtown pollution plant. This is just like the schmear for Bethesda House when that fraud overpaid for the parking lot to grease their exit. The County taxpayers overpaid for the AAA which is not in the way of the dorms, which is not needed for extra dorms, so they can fill the empty Center City flop. They can't keep up with their lies. Death Ray already said Gillen's Gulch would be a site for extra dorms. Instead of sales generating retail fill in with unneeded dorms for a Community College and pos art.

Good Idea.  I thought the same thing.  We need to organize these facts in one string and organize them every so often to keep it organized and tidy.  We could also invite or give a chance to those the thread is about to refute the claims.  

I would like a thread with just pictures of city owned code violators.  They need to lay off peoples backs until they get their ducks in a row.

I think we also need to get the full details on these deals.  The tax break terms etc.
