Looks like they threw in the towel.  Hasn't been on line in days. Not even a web page saying what the story is.  Can only guess they left for good.

Talk about apathy.  There was a site that took city issues the facts, seriously.  Not that this site doesn't have some interesting news and facts offered.  There the discussions were focused on the issues and not the poster presenting.  Maybe that is why it never took off, it was too mature, wasn't exciting gossip and personal attacks.  Good insight into the IQ level of city taxpayers.  

It didn't succeed because it didn't have a fascinating poster like me onboard.

Unfortunately, you are probably right!     Without trolls there would not be a board here either. There sure are enough of them around here.  Keeps things fun and exciting.

Hell, I will be honest I find it fun and a riot in between those posters who offer real facts and stay on topic.  There are some of the most talented, greatest artists here, found anywhere.

  You mostly likely are seeing the google historical record the capture of the old board.  Google captures sites and only updates when there are changes.  Try this...  http://www.schenectadyny.info/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl?v-portal/
