The people of the city should take note of what John Mertz (Bumblethru) thinks of them.  Most people in Rotterdam have a much lower opinion of him.

Joebxr has proven time and again that he is incapable of carrying on a civilized and intelligent discussion.

Because when you are on the other end of the conversation you cannot particpate in a civilized manner, and there is no intelligent life form in your head that can provide substance anyway.  Look at other conversations on the forum that were quite good discussions, with honest and good dialogue and no bickering, political BS, name calling or anything else, until you and/or your alter egos entered the discussion....then everything went to hell.  You are a valued contributor.....to your own pathetic ego.

I was having a very civilized and pleasant conversation with Cel -- BEFORE you interrupted with you personal attacks.   Either choose to be civilized and pleasant when you join the discussion or mind your own business and fornicandum tecum.     I have NOTHING more to say to you -- here or anywhere else.

I have to check and see where the bible says that good Catholics throw such insults and use name calling and other obscene disgusting comments as part of the Church's teachings.....you did see yu follow the Church's teachings, right?  And you can use any language you want, but to direct someone to do as yo usuggest is the babblings of a idiot that adds nothing of value in life, period.  I wonder how your caregivers would react if they new how to carry on in this forum and the nastiness with which you conduct yourself....I'm sure "pride" wold not be one of the rections.

you really are as.a leader....and your profanity and slanderous foul mouth that goes on and on continuously.

      HEARD IN THE DONUT SHOP

.and that explains why you and the other members are biased and shut out others who want to

volunteer....evidently they all think like you do......such a click....I wouldn't be proud  to admit to what you represent....in the Town

it's going to bite you in the bum someday...

I will continue to have rational and civil conversations with those who desire the same --- and ignore the rest.

I will not be bullied by their threats.

The rotten bullies of the extreme right like to push people's buttons -- they do NOT want to engage in constructive dialogue.   Joebxr has proven over and over that he is entirely incapable of engaging in a rational and human discussion.  That is simply because he is an inhuman America - hating Nayboob..

Now that is entirely untrue....I have repeatedly offered to have a direct dialogue with you via a meet and greet. Asked you to PM me with options of when and where, but you have chosen to not do so.  Offer still stands...you and me, meet and greet, direct dialogue...how about it!  Come out and play!!!!

So -- back to the actual topic of the thread --- which was Cel's commenting on the inability to use public restroom facilities in public places that sold food   AND the sign in a local bank requiring people to remove their hats at when entering.

On the latter part of the topic,  I have seen similar signs in a bank in a relatively affluent part of New England ---  not only advising patrons to remove hats but also to remove sun glasses.   So I do not believe that the phenomenon is unique to banks in Schenectady.

Hat removal I can understand the why, fear of weapons under a hat.   but then, in downtown you'll see a large percentage wearing hoodies when it's 90 degrees which is probably a better place to hide something.

Sun glass removal might be a violation of laws against the disabled.  While totally blind people may wear dark glasses, they probably are recognizable via the cane, dog, or by holding the elbow of someone with them.   But there are people with vision problems causing the need for sunglasses.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
