That was like 2 years ago I think.

I did drive by it a couple weeks ago at night and the place was packed.  (Well there were cars all around it)

It has developed quite a following of regulars.  It is nice to see small INDEPENDENT LOCAL businesses making a go of it.

Like Uncle Sam's Candy on Albany St.  They're a strong, INDEPENDENT LOCAL business, making a great go of it.  The INDEPENDENT LOCAL businessman that runs it has strong ties to the community, gives back to the community and supports many local charities - not to mention the large staff that is on his payroll.

Great job Uncle Sam's -  Even DVOR recognizes the LOCAL INDEPENDENT business in the area.  You've earned the great reputation you've obtained!

Yeah the food was good - I am not sure when I'll go back if I'm going with a girl...  Because we were like the youngest people there - so might not look "hip" to my date.  (And I'm not a child)

But as you said - independent, local...  Not subsidized by taxpayers - so I'll take them over the downtown eateries any day.

Unlike the nayboobs who are hopelessly parochial/provincial in their outlook,  I know that there is a HUGE world out there and my concept of "local community" encompasses a larger are ---- I don't apologize for it.  

Furthermore, I will NOT patronize the one candy store in Schenectady County because its owner is an obnoxious jerk who insulted members of my family.   No amount of childish tantrums and personal attacks will ever convince my family and I to spend a single penny in that place as long as he owns it.   He has only himself to blame for losing our patronage.
