Great, another restaurant to complete a Downtown totally funded by the taxpayers dollars. Petta's will NEVER be able to sell their Duane Avenue location...it's impossible. Hence the problem with this shell game Metroplex and the idiotic City officials are playing.

Again, instead of cleaning up Duane Ave...kiddie corner to a middle school, the Plex takes one of the only decent businesses and moves it out. Marcella's, Petta's.....hopefully not another Cornell's fiasco.

That's where Death Ray will step in. Put them on Broadway/Jay where the other restaurants sit vacant for years. But this is renaissance! No one can sell any City property with these insane taxes. Nicest houses in the GE Realty Plot sit for years. It looks like DEM chairman Dick Naylor finally woke up. Now maybe he can get some new glasses.

I enjoy entertaining my friends and family -- and often that means taking them out to eat.  A person can enjoy the company of friends and family at a restaurant  AND eat healthily ....  I know that I do.

Maybe  YOU are the one who goes out to restaurants and eats like an uncontrolled pig -- and now feels guilty about it.

Actually - a nice salad with anchovies and olives with an Italian dressing ... and some authentic BUFFALO milk mozzarella on the side -- makes a great meal.

BTW --- TOPS has the best "house" salad dressing  -- it is their version of an Italian home-made dressing.

Blue Ribbon has great service and so many great dishes to choose from.   The family has always been friendly to my family.   I think I will go there sometime next week -- for a Reuben Sandwich.   Blue Ribbon serves the ABSOLUTE BEST  Reuben Sandwiches outside of New York City.

It is funny that you mentioned that -- because I had been "working through" that list of popular items, too.  It also seems to me that they dropped a few items from their regular menu about a year ago --- and some were personal favorites.

But as long as they serve the Reuben Sandwich -- I'll be a happy camper.
