I'm going to channel DVOR

I remember in the 80's and 90's going to the Golden Dragon with my significant other and ordering food that we would share and 'saving' the siverware and napkins and placemats as souvenirs that we have to this day.....

Had a wonderful meal with family and friends -- I highly recommend this restaurant.  The owner did a wonderful job sprucing up the interior ---  you actually feel safe walking into the building (not like some other restaurants recommended by the nayboobs -- that are housed in decrepit buildings).   The owner warmly greets you -- service is awesome -- and the food is cooked to order and EXCELLENTLY prepared.

Very relaxing evening -- everyone enjoyed themselves.

Everyone knows you have no friends.

EXACTLY! So crowded no one goes there any more? We stopped by last month on a Friday night. The parking lot was totally empty. Went to Ferrari's-they don't need a floor show. Also try RJ's Ritz Terrace which is packing them in again on Van Vranken Avenue.

Haven't been there yet. but planning to before Christmas. We heard the food was excellent! Too bad cornells didn't stay on vanvrankin.

Driving home -- I noticed that the Blue Ribbon Diner has completed its "facelift" -- it looks great from the outside -- and so we will have to make plans to eat their sometime next week.  The Blue Ribbon Diner is another awesome Schenectady restaurant.

Blue Ribbon has great service and so many great dishes to choose from.   The family has always been friendly to my family.   I think I will go there sometime next week -- for a Reuben Sandwich.   Blue Ribbon serves the ABSOLUTE BEST  Reuben Sandwiches outside of New York City.

Dolce Vita is a great place to take your family and friends anytime of the year.  It was particularly nice to celebrate our Saint Nicholas Day dinner there --- our family has always exchanged gifts on December 6 and January 6 thus allowing December 25 to be kept as primarily a go to church HOLY day then rest quietly at home with immediate family day.

The Cornell family is moving back to Van Vranken. Next door to the packed RJ's Ritz Terrace in their original digs. Wish them buona fortuna. Look for Petta's to make a move Downtown after the first.

Petta's is an awesome restaurant -- will be great whether it stays in its current location or moves downtown.

Why don't you throw a fund raiser for Petta's move? The actual County taxpayers are sick of subsidizing failed gin mills and greasy spoons.

it's a fact....but the Dems are backing him to the hilt.....familia.....

SO YOU GO AND STICK YOUR COMMENTS YOU KNOW WHERE.....

Randy Loren was good in his day......this is not Hollywood or NYC where caberet entertainment goes over anymore.

If I want to see a show I'll go somewhere else.....Not criticizing the man but enough is enough....he is not TONY BENNETT

now there's someone who has maintained his grace and style without any hoooplah...

The entertainment is very good at Dolce Vita --- and the place is doing quite well -- those of us who like the place will continue to patronize it and those who prefer to go elsewhere ... well who cares where the nayboobs go?
